أعلن رئيس الحكومة اللبنانية نواف سلام اليوم (الخميس)، عن اختراق حسابه على منصة «إكس»، وحذف منشور له عن الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية.
وأوضح سلام أنه سيعيد نشر ما كتبه بالأمس، بعدما تبيّن له أن هناك من تمكن من الدخول إلى حسابه وحذفه. وأضاف: «إن ما تقوم به إسرائيل في المنصوري وزوطر الشرقية وكفرتبنيت وغيرها من القرى والبلدات الجنوبية، من اعتداءات وتوغلات وعمليات جرف وتدمير ممنهج للمنازل والأحياء السكنية والبنى التحتية والمقار الحكومية ودور العبادة، يشكّل انتهاكاً خطيراً لمبادئ وقواعد القانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني».
ولفت إلى أن «تبرير عمليات الجرف والتدمير بذريعة وجود منشآت عسكرية، فتدحضه طبيعة ما يجري استهدافه على الأرض»، مبيناً أن «القول إن قرى وبلدات، بمنازلها وأحيائها ومقارها الحكومية ومرافقها العامة ودور عبادتها وبناها التحتية، هي بكاملها منشآت عسكرية، ادعاء لا يستقيم مع أي منطق ولا يمكن أن يشكّل غطاءً لتدميرها وتهجير أهلها ومنعهم من العودة إليها».
وأشار إلى أن «سيادة لبنان وأمن أهله وحق الجنوبيين في العودة إلى أرضهم وإعادة بناء قراهم ليست مسائل قابلة للمساومة»، أتى هذا التوضيح فيما يتعرض سلام إضافة إلى رئيس الجمهورية جوزيف عون، لحملات تخوين من قبل حزب الله ومناصريه على مواقع التواصل، منذ بدء السلطات اللبنانية التفاوض مع إسرائيل بشكل مباشر برعاية أمريكية من أجل التوصل لاتفاق ينهي النزاع ويدفع القوات الإسرائيلية إلى الانسحاب من الأراضي التي احتلتها في الجنوب اللبناني، إثر فتح حزب الله الجبهة اللبنانية بعد اغتيال المرشد الإيراني علي خامنئي، أواخر فبراير الماضي.
وشددت السلطات اللبنانية على أن التفاوض هو السبيل الوحيد من أجل حل الصراع، والتخفيف من وطأة الحرب على سكان الجنوب اللبناني.
من جهة أخرى، قال مسؤول في وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية إن الوجود العسكري الإسرائيلي الدائم في جنوب لبنان لا يتوافق مع الالتزامات المنصوص عليها في الاتفاق الذي تدعمه واشنطن، موضحاً أن الولايات المتحدة تتوقع من جميع الأطراف أن تتصرف بطريقة تتفق مع الإطار الذي اتفقوا عليه.
وأشار إلى أن إسرائيل صرحت بوضوح أنها لا تملك أي مطامع إقليمية في لبنان، مبيناً أن الجيش اللبناني بدأ تنفيذ المناطق التجريبية الأولى وواشنطن ستواصل دعم التنفيذ الكامل لتلك العملية.
The Lebanese Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, announced today (Thursday) that his account on the "X" platform was hacked, and a post he made about Israeli assaults was deleted.
Salam clarified that he would repost what he wrote yesterday, after it became clear to him that someone had managed to access his account and delete it. He added: "What Israel is doing in Al-Mansouri, Zawtar Al-Sharqiya, Kfar Tebnit, and other southern villages and towns, including assaults, incursions, and systematic demolition of homes, residential neighborhoods, infrastructure, government facilities, and places of worship, constitutes a serious violation of the principles and rules of international law and international humanitarian law."
He pointed out that "justifying the operations of demolition and destruction under the pretext of the presence of military facilities is contradicted by the nature of what is being targeted on the ground," explaining that "the claim that villages and towns, with their homes, neighborhoods, government facilities, public amenities, places of worship, and infrastructure, are entirely military installations is an assertion that does not hold up to any logic and cannot serve as a cover for their destruction, the displacement of their residents, and preventing them from returning."
He emphasized that "Lebanon's sovereignty, the security of its people, and the right of Southerners to return to their land and rebuild their villages are not matters subject to negotiation." This clarification comes as Salam, in addition to President Joseph Aoun, is facing campaigns of treason from Hezbollah and its supporters on social media, since the Lebanese authorities began direct negotiations with Israel under American sponsorship to reach an agreement that ends the conflict and prompts Israeli forces to withdraw from the territories they occupied in southern Lebanon, following Hezbollah's opening of the Lebanese front after the assassination of Iranian leader Ali Khamenei in late February.
The Lebanese authorities stressed that negotiation is the only way to resolve the conflict and alleviate the burden of war on the residents of southern Lebanon.
On another note, a U.S. State Department official stated that the permanent Israeli military presence in southern Lebanon does not align with the commitments outlined in the agreement supported by Washington, clarifying that the United States expects all parties to act in a manner consistent with the framework they agreed upon.
He noted that Israel has clearly stated that it has no regional ambitions in Lebanon, indicating that the Lebanese army has begun implementing the first experimental areas, and Washington will continue to support the full implementation of that process.
