شهدت جبهة البلق (جنوبي مأرب) تصعيدًا عسكريًا جديدًا، إذ قُتل وأصيب أكثر من 15 عنصرًا من ميليشيا الحوثي في اشتباكات عنيفة مع القوات اليمنية التي أحبطت محاولة هجومية مباغتة على مواقعها في أطراف السلسلة الجبلية.
وأفادت مصادر ميدانية بأن القوات اليمنية أجبرت العناصر المهاجمة على التراجع بعد تكبيدها خسائر كبيرة في الأرواح والعتاد، فيما استمر القتال لساعات وسط تحليق مكثف للطيران المسيّر الذي استهدف تجمعات وتعزيزات حوثية كانت تتجه نحو خطوط التماس.
وتزامن ذلك مع عمليات عسكرية واسعة نفذتها القوات الحكومية في عدة جبهات بمأرب والجوف، حيث استهدفت ثكنات للحوثيين في جبال الردهة بمديرية الجوبة، ودمرت طائرات مسيّرة محطة اتصالات في جبل هيلان (غربي المحافظة)، كما دمّرت منصة لإطلاق الصواريخ وعتادًا عسكريًا للجماعة في منطقة الكسارة ومديرية صرواح.
وامتدت الضربات إلى جبهة العلم (شرقي الجوف)، حيث استهدف الطيران اليمني أحد معسكرات الحوثيين، في وقت كثّفت فيه القوات الحكومية عملياتها ضد مواقع وآليات الجماعة في أكثر من محور.
في المقابل، كثّفت مليشيا الحوثي هجماتها الصاروخية على مدينة مأرب، وأفاد شهود بسماع دوي انفجارين في المدينة، بينما تصدت دفاعات الجيش للمسيّرات الحوثية. كما عاودت الجماعة قصف مدينة المخا (غربي تعز) بصواريخ باليستية، ما أدى إلى سماع انفجارين متتاليين قرب الميناء.
ويأتي هذا التصعيد في ظل تحذيرات رسمية من أن هجمات المليشيا الحوثية تمثل اختبارًا جديدًا لجدية المجتمع الدولي في حماية فرص السلام، إذ أكد رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني رشاد العليمي أن الحكومة لن تسمح بأن يتحول التزامها بالسلام إلى فرصة للجماعة لاختيار توقيت ومكان الهجمات، مشددًا على أن الرد على الاعتداءات حق مشروع لحماية المدنيين واستقرار المناطق المحررة.
The Al-Balq front (southern Marib) has witnessed a new military escalation, as more than 15 members of the Houthi militia were killed and injured in violent clashes with Yemeni forces that thwarted a surprise offensive attempt on their positions at the edges of the mountain range.
Field sources reported that the Yemeni forces forced the attacking elements to retreat after inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment, while the fighting continued for hours amid intense drone activity that targeted Houthi gatherings and reinforcements heading towards the front lines.
This coincided with extensive military operations carried out by government forces on several fronts in Marib and Al-Jawf, where they targeted Houthi barracks in the Al-Radhah mountains in the Al-Jubah district, and drones destroyed a communications station on Jabal Helan (west of the governorate), as well as a missile launch platform and military equipment belonging to the group in the Al-Kasara area and the Sirwah district.
The strikes extended to the Al-Alam front (eastern Al-Jawf), where Yemeni aircraft targeted one of the Houthi camps, at a time when government forces intensified their operations against the group's positions and vehicles on multiple axes.
In contrast, the Houthi militia intensified its missile attacks on the city of Marib, and witnesses reported hearing the sound of two explosions in the city, while the army's defenses intercepted Houthi drones. The group also resumed shelling the city of Al-Mokha (west of Taiz) with ballistic missiles, leading to the sound of two consecutive explosions near the port.
This escalation comes amid official warnings that the Houthi militia's attacks represent a new test of the international community's seriousness in protecting peace opportunities, as the President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, confirmed that the government will not allow its commitment to peace to become an opportunity for the group to choose the timing and place of attacks, emphasizing that responding to aggression is a legitimate right to protect civilians and stabilize liberated areas.
