أعلن مجلس السلام في غزة اليوم (الإثنين) أن انسحاب الجيش الإسرائيلي إلى ما وراء الخط الأصفر لن يتم إلا بعد استكمال عملية نزع السلاح في القطاع الفلسطيني المحاصر.
وصف ممثل المجلس نيكولاي ملادينوف المرحلة القادمة بأنها «صعبة» وتتطلب عملاً بطيئاً وشاقاً، مبيناً أن نزع السلاح في قطاع غزة سيشمل الأسلحة الخفيفة والثقيلة والأنفاق، وفقاً لما التزمت به حركة حماس أمام الوسطاء.
وكتب ملادينوف عقب الاجتماع مع رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو في منشور على منصة «إكس»: «يوم طويل في القدس، عقدت خلاله اجتماعاً مع رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو وفريقه.. هذه بداية المرحلة الصعبة، ولم أتظاهر يوماً بخلاف ذلك، الكثير مما نفعله الآن ليس مثيراً، إنها عملية بطيئة وشاقة وفنية تتطلب الكثير من العمل التفصيلي».
وأكد المجلس وجود تفاهم مشترك مع إسرائيل بشأن الأهداف النهائية للعملية، موضحاً أن الهدف واضح ولا جدال بشأنه، ويتمثل في الإنهاء الكامل لوجود الأسلحة في قطاع غزة، والانتقال من حكم السلاح إلى إدارة مدنية، وإيجاد مستقبل أكثر أمناً في المنطقة للإسرائيليين والفلسطينيين في غزة.
ولفت إلى أن الوصول إلى هذا الهدف سيكون عبر عملية متدرجة، على أن تُحدد خطوات هذه العملية في المرحلة القادمة من العمل.
وأشار إلى أن استمرار التقدم يعتمد على وفاء كل طرف بالتزاماته ضمن الإطار المتفق عليه.
The Peace Council in Gaza announced today (Monday) that the withdrawal of the Israeli army beyond the yellow line will only occur after the completion of the disarmament process in the besieged Palestinian territory.
The council's representative, Nikolai Mladenov, described the upcoming phase as "difficult" and requiring slow and hard work, indicating that disarmament in the Gaza Strip will include light and heavy weapons and tunnels, in accordance with what Hamas has committed to before the mediators.
Mladenov wrote following his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a post on the platform "X": "A long day in Jerusalem, during which I held a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his team... This is the beginning of the difficult phase, and I have never pretended otherwise; much of what we are doing now is not exciting. It is a slow, arduous, and technical process that requires a lot of detailed work."
The council confirmed a mutual understanding with Israel regarding the ultimate goals of the process, clarifying that the goal is clear and undisputed: the complete elimination of the presence of weapons in the Gaza Strip, transitioning from armed rule to civilian governance, and creating a more secure future in the region for both Israelis and Palestinians in Gaza.
It noted that achieving this goal will be through a gradual process, with the steps of this process to be defined in the next phase of work.
It pointed out that the continuation of progress depends on each party fulfilling its commitments within the agreed framework.
