اتهمت مؤسسة «روساتوم» الروسية، اليوم (الأحد)، أوكرانيا باستهداف محطة زابوريجيا للطاقة النووية بمسيّرة، مؤكدة أن الهجوم شمل منطقة قريبة من حجرة المفاعل في الوحدة الثالثة، فيما استهدف الآخر منطقة المخزن الجاف للوقود النووي المستهلك.
وقال المدير العام لـ«روساتوم» أليكسي ليخاتشوف إن طائرة مسيّرة قتالية اصطدمت خلال الليلة الماضية بممر المشاة الذي يربط بين وحدات الطاقة الست، موضحاً أن موقع الاصطدام كان على بعد أمتار قليلة من حجرة المفاعل في الوحدة الثالثة دون وقوع انفجار، موضحاً أن القوات الأوكرانية حاولت في 30 يوليو مهاجمة منطقة المخزن الجاف للوقود النووي المستهلك.
ولفت ليخاتشوف إلى أنه تم العثور على طائرة مسيّرة غير منفجرة بالقرب من مبنى يضم ناقلة مخصصة لنقل حاويات الوقود النووي المستهلك، مبيناً أن هجمات القوات الأوكرانية على محطة زابوريجيا للطاقة النووية لا تزال مستمرة.
وأكد المسؤول الروسي مقتل 15 شخصاً وإصابة 51 آخرين منذ بدء التصعيد حول مدينة إنيرغودار في الـ27 من أبريل. وأوضح مدير عام «روساتوم» أن هذه الهجمات تشكل مخاطر مباشرة على سلامة المنشأة النووية، وتمثل محاولة جديدة لاستهداف البنية التحتية النووية في محطة زابوريجيا.
وتعد مقاطعة زابوريجيا إحدى أبرز جبهات الحرب الروسية الأوكرانية منذ عام 2022، وتسيطر روسيا على أجزاء واسعة من المقاطعة، بينما تحتفظ أوكرانيا بمناطق أخرى، وتنفي كل من موسكو وكييف استهداف المدنيين في الحرب. وتقع محطة زابوريجيا في جنوب شرقي أوكرانيا، وهي أكبر محطة للطاقة النووية في أوروبا، وتخضع لسيطرة القوات الروسية منذ مارس 2022.
The Russian state corporation "Rosatom" accused Ukraine today (Sunday) of targeting the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant with a drone, confirming that the attack included an area near the reactor chamber in unit three, while another targeted the spent nuclear fuel dry storage area.
General Director of "Rosatom," Alexey Likhachev, stated that a combat drone collided last night with the pedestrian corridor connecting the six power units, explaining that the collision site was just a few meters away from the reactor chamber in unit three without causing an explosion. He noted that Ukrainian forces attempted to attack the spent nuclear fuel dry storage area on July 30.
Likhachev pointed out that an unexploded drone was found near a building housing a transporter designated for transporting spent nuclear fuel containers, indicating that Ukrainian attacks on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant are still ongoing.
The Russian official confirmed that 15 people have been killed and 51 others injured since the escalation around the city of Enerhodar began on April 27. The General Director of "Rosatom" explained that these attacks pose direct risks to the safety of the nuclear facility and represent a new attempt to target the nuclear infrastructure at the Zaporizhzhia plant.
Zaporizhzhia province has been one of the main fronts in the Russian-Ukrainian war since 2022, with Russia controlling large parts of the province while Ukraine retains other areas. Both Moscow and Kyiv deny targeting civilians in the war. The Zaporizhzhia plant is located in southeastern Ukraine and is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, having been under Russian control since March 2022.
