أعربت الكويت عن إدانتها واستنكارها بأشد العبارات، استمرار العدوان الإيراني الآثم على البلاد الذي استهدف، اليوم(السبت)، عدداً من المنشآت الحيوية والحكومية، وطال آليات تابعة لإحدى الشركات المدنية في جزيرة بوبيان.
وأكدت الخارجية الكويتية في بيان، أن "استمرار هذه الاعتداءات السافرة يعكس إصراراً على مواصلة النهج العدائي، بما يقوّض الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة، ويُفاقم التوتر".
وجددت الوزارة التأكيد على احتفاظ دولة الكويت بحقها الأصيل والمشروع في اتخاذ جميع الإجراءات اللازمة لصون سيادتها، وحماية أمنها ومصالحها ومقدراتها، وسلامة مواطنيها والمقيمين على أرضها.
وكان المتحدث الرسمي لوزارة الدفاع الكويتية،العقيد الركن سعود العطوان، أعلن أن القوات المسلحة رصدت، منذ فجر اليوم، طائرات مسيّرة معادية داخل المجال الجوي الكويتي، وقد تم التعامل معها وتدميرها.
وأضاف أن العدوان الإيراني الآثم استهدف عدداً من المنشآت الحيوية والعسكرية، إمؤكدا أنه جرى التعامل مع الأهداف المعادية وتدميرها، وأسفر ذلك عن أضرار مادية نتيجة سقوط الشظايا، دون تسجيل أي إصابات بشرية.
وأكدت الكويت استمرارها في تنفيذ مهامها وواجباتها "بكفاءة عالية"، في إطار الجاهزية المستمرة والاستعداد الدائم، واتخاذ جميع الإجراءات اللازمة لحماية سيادة الوطن وصون أمنه واستقراره، بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة، بما يحفظ سلامة المواطنين والمقيمين."
Kuwait expressed its condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the continued Iranian aggression against the country, which targeted today (Saturday) a number of vital and governmental facilities, and affected vehicles belonging to a civil company on Bubiyan Island.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement that "the continuation of these blatant attacks reflects a determination to persist in the hostile approach, which undermines security and stability in the region and exacerbates tensions."
The ministry reiterated Kuwait's right to take all necessary measures to preserve its sovereignty, protect its security, interests, and resources, and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.
The official spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Otawe, announced that the armed forces detected hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace since dawn today, and they were dealt with and destroyed.
He added that the Iranian aggression targeted a number of vital and military facilities, confirming that the hostile targets were addressed and destroyed, resulting in material damage due to falling debris, with no human injuries reported.
Kuwait affirmed its continued execution of its tasks and duties "with high efficiency," within the framework of ongoing readiness and constant preparedness, and taking all necessary measures to protect the sovereignty of the homeland and ensure its security and stability, in coordination with the relevant authorities, to safeguard the safety of citizens and residents.
