في أحدث موجة انشقاقات تشهدها القوات وسط استمرار المعارك في البلاد، استسلمت مجموعات منشقة عن قوات الدعم السريع للجيش السوداني في مدينة أم درمان، بعدما سلمت أفرادها وعتادها العسكري.
وتضم المجموعات المستسلمة 45 مقاتلاً بكامل عتادهم العسكري، الذي يشمل مركبات عسكرية حديثة وأسلحة ثقيلة، إلى جانب عدد من القيادات العسكرية، أبرزهم عثمان النور، ويونس إدريس، وعلي الزين، وهم من كبار قادة «الدعم السريع» القادمين من مدينة بارا بولاية شمال كردفان.
وعزا قادة المجموعات المستسلمة قرارهم إلى ما وصفوه بالتمييز العنصري والتمييز القبلي داخل قوات الدعم السريع، إلى جانب عدم الإيفاء بحقوق المقاتلين، مؤكدين غياب القضية التي يقاتلون من أجلها.
من جانبه، قال القائد السابق في قوات الدعم السريع المنشق عنها النور القبة، خلال استقبال المجموعات المستسلمة، إن مجموعات أخرى تستعد للانشقاق وتسليم نفسها للجيش، بسبب الهزائم المتتالية التي تعرضت لها قوات الدعم السريع في إقليم كردفان.
فيما كشف عثمان النور، أحد القادة المستسلمين، أن قوات الدعم السريع تشهد انهيارات كبيرة في مختلف محاور القتال، داعياً بقية الفصائل إلى الاستسلام والانضمام إلى الجيش السوداني.
ويأتي إعلان استسلام المجموعة الجديدة في ظل تصاعد الانشقاقات داخل قوات الدعم السريع خلال العام الحالي، إذ أعلن عدد من القادة الميدانيين انضمامهم إلى الجيش السوداني، من بينهم النور القبة، قبل أن يلحق به قادة آخرون، بينهم علي رزق الله، المعروف بـ«السافنا»، في وقت أعلن فيه الجيش السوداني استقبال مجموعات أخرى من المنشقين في جبهات القتال، وفق ما نقلته وكالة الأنباء الإسبانية (EFE) ووسائل إعلام سودانية.
وكان الجيش السوداني أكد خلال الأسابيع الأخيرة انضمام مئات المنشقين عن قوات الدعم السريع في عدة محاور، خصوصاً في ولايتي شمال وغرب كردفان، مع تسليمهم أسلحة ومركبات عسكرية، في حين أرجع مراقبون تلك الانشقاقات إلى تزايد الضغوط العسكرية والخلافات الداخلية داخل قوات الدعم السريع.
In the latest wave of defections witnessed by the forces amid ongoing battles in the country, groups that defected from the Rapid Support Forces surrendered to the Sudanese army in the city of Omdurman, after handing over their personnel and military equipment.
The surrendered groups include 45 fighters with their full military gear, which includes modern military vehicles and heavy weapons, along with several military leaders, most notably Othman Al-Nour, Younis Idris, and Ali Al-Zain, who are among the senior leaders of the "Rapid Support" coming from the city of Bara in North Kordofan state.
The leaders of the surrendered groups attributed their decision to what they described as racial discrimination and tribal discrimination within the Rapid Support Forces, in addition to the failure to fulfill the rights of the fighters, emphasizing the absence of the cause for which they are fighting.
For his part, the former leader in the Rapid Support Forces who defected, Al-Nour Al-Quba, stated during the reception of the surrendered groups that other groups are preparing to defect and surrender to the army due to the successive defeats that the Rapid Support Forces have faced in the Kordofan region.
Meanwhile, Othman Al-Nour, one of the surrendered leaders, revealed that the Rapid Support Forces are experiencing significant collapses on various fronts of combat, calling on the remaining factions to surrender and join the Sudanese army.
The announcement of the new group's surrender comes amid a rise in defections within the Rapid Support Forces during this year, as several field leaders announced their joining of the Sudanese army, including Al-Nour Al-Quba, before being followed by other leaders, including Ali Rizq Allah, known as "Al-Safna," at a time when the Sudanese army announced the reception of other groups of defectors on the battlefronts, according to what was reported by the Spanish news agency (EFE) and Sudanese media.
The Sudanese army confirmed in recent weeks the joining of hundreds of defectors from the Rapid Support Forces in several fronts, particularly in the states of North and West Kordofan, with the surrender of their weapons and military vehicles, while observers attributed these defections to increasing military pressures and internal disputes within the Rapid Support Forces.
