اتهم رئيس الوزراء اليمني الدكتور شائع الزنداني مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية، بأنها تنفذ أجندة إيران لزعزعة أمن واستقرار المنطقة وتقويض الأمن البحري الدولي، من خلال استهداف السفن التجارية وتهديد أمن البحر الأحمر والممرات الملاحية الدولية.
وأكد في منشور له، اليوم (الأحد)، أن هذه الممارسات لا يدفع ثمنها اليمنيون فحسب، بل تمتد تداعياتها لتطال المنطقة والعالم، عبر تهديد حرية الملاحة وسلاسل الإمداد والتجارة الدولية، وتقويض الجهود الأممية والإقليمية والدولية الرامية إلى إحلال السلام والاستقرار.
وقال الزنداني إن حماية حرية الملاحة وأمن الممرات البحرية مسؤولية جماعية، مشيرا إلى أن المجتمع الدولي مطالب اليوم باتخاذ موقف أكثر حزماً وردعاً إزاء السلوك الحوثي الإرهابي، وتجفيف مصادر دعمه ومنع استمرار تهديده للمصالح الإقليمية والدولية.
وأعلن رئيس الوزراء اليمني أن الحكومة ستواصل العمل بتنسيق وثيق مع تحالف دعم الشرعية بقيادة الأشقاء في المملكة العربية السعودية وشركائها في المجتمع الدولي، لمواجهة هذه التهديدات، وحماية أمن الملاحة، ودعم جهود ترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار واستعادة مؤسسات الدولة وصون سيادة اليمن.
وكان عضو مجلس القيادة الرئاسي سلطان العرادة، شدد أمس (السبت)، على ضرورة رفع الجاهزية القتالية وتعزيز القدرات الدفاعية والعملياتية في مختلف الوحدات العسكرية والأمنية، بما يرفع كفاءة الأداء ويواكب متطلبات المرحلة.
وعقد العرادة في مأرب لقاء مع وزير الدفاع الفريق طاهر العقيلي، ورئيس هيئة الأركان العامة قائد العمليات المشتركة الفريق صغير بن عزيز، بحضور قائد التحالف العربي في مأرب العميد فارس الشمّري، لمناقشة مستجدات الأوضاع العسكرية والميدانية، ومستوى الجاهزية، وسير تنفيذ الخطط العملياتية في مختلف الجبهات.
وأكد العرادة أن المعركة الوطنية التي يخوضها الشعب اليمني وقواته المسلحة منذ سنوات تمثل معركة مصيرية دفاعاً عن الجمهورية، وحماية الثوابت والمكتسبات الوطنية، ووضع حد للمعاناة الإنسانية التي تسببت بها مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية المدعومة من النظام الإيراني.
The Yemeni Prime Minister, Dr. Sha'if Al-Zandani, accused the Houthi terrorist militia of executing Iran's agenda to destabilize the security and stability of the region and undermine international maritime security by targeting commercial ships and threatening the security of the Red Sea and international shipping lanes.
He confirmed in a post today (Sunday) that these practices do not only cost the Yemenis, but their repercussions extend to affect the region and the world by threatening freedom of navigation and international supply chains and trade, undermining the UN, regional, and international efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability.
Al-Zandani stated that protecting freedom of navigation and the security of maritime routes is a collective responsibility, pointing out that the international community is required today to take a firmer and more deterrent stance towards the Houthi terrorist behavior, drying up its sources of support, and preventing its continued threat to regional and international interests.
The Yemeni Prime Minister announced that the government will continue to work in close coordination with the Coalition to Support Legitimacy led by our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its partners in the international community to confront these threats, protect navigation security, and support efforts to establish security and stability, restore state institutions, and safeguard Yemen's sovereignty.
Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Sultan Al-Aradah, emphasized yesterday (Saturday) the necessity of raising combat readiness and enhancing defensive and operational capabilities across various military and security units to improve performance efficiency and meet the requirements of the stage.
Al-Aradah held a meeting in Marib with Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Taher Al-Aqili, and Chief of General Staff, Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz, in the presence of the Arab Coalition Commander in Marib, Brigadier General Fares Al-Shammari, to discuss the latest developments in military and field conditions, the level of readiness, and the progress of operational plans across various fronts.
Al-Aradah confirmed that the national battle being fought by the Yemeni people and their armed forces for years represents a decisive battle in defense of the republic, protecting national constants and gains, and putting an end to the humanitarian suffering caused by the Houthi terrorist militia supported by the Iranian regime.
