كشفت صحيفة «معاريف» أن الجيش الإسرائيلي أنهى إعداد خطط لشن هجوم واسع على البنى التحتية الإيرانية، إلا أن رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو يفضل عدم الانخراط حالياً في التصعيد بين واشنطن وطهران.
ونقلت الصحيفة عن مصدر أمني إسرائيلي قوله: إن الجيش أكمل خططه الهجومية على إيران تحسباً لاستئناف حرب واسعة النطاق أو في حال شنت طهران هجوماً على إسرائيل. وأكّد أن إسرائيل ستحقق ما لم تتمكن من تحقيقه في الجولات السابقة إذا قررت القيادة السياسية المضي قدماً.
وأشار المصدر إلى استمرار وجود آلاف الجنود الأمريكيين وقوة جوية كبيرة في إسرائيل، معتبراً أن هذا الانتشار يشكل عنصراً مؤثراً في أي سيناريو تصعيد محتمل.
وبحسب «معاريف»، فإن قائمة الأهداف المحتملة تشمل: منشآت حيوية في قطاعي النفط والغاز الإيرانيين، بينها جزيرة خارك، إضافة إلى محطات توليد الكهرباء والمنشآت الصناعية وشبكات النقل، في إطار مساعٍ لإلحاق أضرار إضافية بالاقتصاد الإيراني.
ونقلت الصحيفة عن المصدر الأمني قوله إن استهداف هذه المواقع كان من الخيارات التي لم تستهدف خلال المواجهات السابقة، موضحاً أن قرار عدم توسيع نطاق الضربات جاء بتنسيق بين الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل. وأضاف: «ربما لن يكون هناك خيار آخر لأن إيران لا تفهم إلا لغة القوة».
وأعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، (الجمعة)، موافقته على إجراء محادثات جديدة مع إيران، لكنه جدد التأكيد بأن وقف إطلاق النار الذي كان سارياً قد انتهى.
من جانبها، تمسكت إيران على لسان كبير مفاوضيها محمد باقر قاليباف بعدم «الاستسلام» في هذه المواجهة، بينما دعاها رئيس وزراء باكستان شهباز شريف، للحفاظ على مكتسبات سلام «تحققت بصعوبة» بين الحرب والتفاوض على مدى أسابيع.
ووقعت طهران وواشنطن في منتصف يونيو، مذكرة تفاهم لإنهاء الحرب، في وساطة قادتها باكستان، ومهدت المذكرة لإجراء محادثات هدفها التوصل إلى اتفاق نهائي خلال 60 يوماً قابلة للتمديد.
The newspaper "Ma'ariv" revealed that the Israeli army has completed preparations for a wide-ranging attack on Iranian infrastructure, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu prefers not to engage currently in the escalation between Washington and Tehran.
The newspaper quoted an Israeli security source as saying that the army has completed its offensive plans against Iran in anticipation of a resumption of large-scale war or in case Tehran launches an attack on Israel. He confirmed that Israel would achieve what it could not accomplish in previous rounds if the political leadership decides to move forward.
The source noted the continued presence of thousands of American soldiers and a large air force in Israel, considering that this deployment is a significant factor in any potential escalation scenario.
According to "Ma'ariv," the list of potential targets includes vital facilities in the Iranian oil and gas sectors, including Khark Island, in addition to power generation stations, industrial facilities, and transportation networks, as part of efforts to inflict further damage on the Iranian economy.
The newspaper quoted the security source as saying that targeting these sites was one of the options not pursued during previous confrontations, explaining that the decision not to expand the scope of strikes came in coordination between the United States and Israel. He added: "There may not be another option because Iran only understands the language of power."
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Friday his approval to hold new talks with Iran, but reiterated that the ceasefire that was in effect has ended.
For its part, Iran, through its chief negotiator Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, insisted on not "surrendering" in this confrontation, while Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif urged it to maintain the peace gains that were "achieved with difficulty" between war and negotiation over the weeks.
Tehran and Washington signed a memorandum of understanding in mid-June to end the war, mediated by Pakistan, which paved the way for talks aimed at reaching a final agreement within 60 days, extendable.
