توقعت تقديرات إسرائيلية عودة الحرب على قطاع غزة خلال شهرين إلى ثلاثة أشهر، أي قبل الانتخابات التشريعية المقررة في أكتوبر القادم، في حال اعتبرت حركة حماس منتهكة لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار بسبب احتفاظها بسلاحها.
وبحسب القناة 12 الإسرائيلية، فإن إسرائيل تتوقع أن يعلن «مجلس السلام»، الذي يشرف على إعادة إعمار قطاع غزة برئاسة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، أن حماس أخلّت بالاتفاق إذا لم يطرأ تغيير على ملف السلاح خلال الأشهر القادمة.
وذكرت أن المدير العام للمجلس نيكولاي ملادينوف، درس سابقًا إصدار مثل هذا الإعلان، لكنه جمّد الخطوة استجابة لطلب الوسطاء لمنحهم فرصة إضافية لإقناع الحركة بالالتزام ببنود الاتفاق.
وحسب التقديرات الإسرائيلية، فإن إعلان حماس منتهكة للاتفاق قد يتيح للجيش الإسرائيلي استئناف عملياته في المناطق التي لا يسيطر عليها حاليًا داخل القطاع، ما قد يؤدي إلى عودة القتال.
وتواصل إسرائيل التأكيد على أن نزع سلاح حماس شرط أساسي لأي تسوية دائمة في غزة، معتبرة إنهاء حكم الحركة وتجريدها من السلاح هدفين رئيسيين للحرب.
وأفاد موقع «واللا» بأن الجيش الإسرائيلي عزز انتشاره على الحدود مع الأردن بنشر فرقة إضافية، تحسبًا لسيناريوهات أمنية مشابهة لهجوم السابع من أكتوبر 2023.
وتتزامن هذه التطورات مع استعداد إسرائيل لانتخابات تشريعية في أكتوبر، وسط أزمة داخل الائتلاف الحاكم بزعامة بنيامين نتنياهو، في استحقاق يُنظر إليه على أنه اختبار لمستقبل حكومته وقدرة معسكره اليميني على الاحتفاظ بالأغلبية البرلمانية.
في المقابل، كشفت مصادر في حماس أن ردها الرسمي على خريطة الطريق المطروحة للمرحلة الثانية من اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار استبعد أي نصوص تتعلق بنزع أو تسليم السلاح، مع اعتماد صيغة تتحدث عن «حصر وجمع وتخزين السلاح»، بما لا يعني التخلي عن سلاح المقاومة.
وأشارت تقارير إسرائيلية إلى أن الولايات المتحدة تمضي في تنفيذ خطة إعادة إعمار تدريجية في مناطق داخل غزة، حتى في ظل عدم نزع سلاح حماس، مع توقع استكمال تجهيز البنية التحتية خلال ثلاثة إلى ستة أشهر، وإنشاء قوة شرطة فلسطينية جديدة تُدرَّب في مصر، إلى جانب قوة استقرار دولية.
وتأتي هذه التطورات بينما تتواصل الخروقات الإسرائيلية لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار، في ظل استمرار الخلافات بشأن الانسحاب الإسرائيلي، وإعادة الإعمار، ومستقبل السلاح الفلسطيني.
Israeli estimates predict a return to war in the Gaza Strip within two to three months, that is, before the legislative elections scheduled for next October, if Hamas is considered to be in violation of the ceasefire agreement due to its retention of weapons.
According to Israeli Channel 12, Israel expects that the "Peace Council," which oversees the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip under the leadership of U.S. President Donald Trump, will declare that Hamas has violated the agreement if there is no change regarding the weapons issue in the coming months.
The report mentioned that the Council's Director-General Nikolai Mladenov had previously considered issuing such a declaration but froze the step in response to a request from mediators to give them an additional opportunity to convince the movement to adhere to the terms of the agreement.
According to Israeli estimates, declaring Hamas in violation of the agreement could allow the Israeli army to resume its operations in areas it currently does not control within the Strip, which could lead to a return to fighting.
Israel continues to emphasize that the disarmament of Hamas is a fundamental condition for any lasting settlement in Gaza, considering the end of the movement's rule and its disarmament as two main objectives of the war.
The website "Walla" reported that the Israeli army has reinforced its presence on the border with Jordan by deploying an additional brigade, in anticipation of security scenarios similar to the attack on October 7, 2023.
These developments coincide with Israel's preparations for legislative elections in October, amidst a crisis within the ruling coalition led by Benjamin Netanyahu, in a contest viewed as a test for the future of his government and the ability of his right-wing camp to maintain a parliamentary majority.
In contrast, sources within Hamas revealed that its official response to the proposed roadmap for the second phase of the ceasefire agreement excluded any texts related to the disarmament or surrender of weapons, adopting a formula that speaks of "restricting, collecting, and storing weapons," which does not imply abandoning the resistance's arms.
Israeli reports indicated that the United States is proceeding with a gradual reconstruction plan in areas within Gaza, even in the absence of disarmament of Hamas, with expectations to complete the infrastructure preparations within three to six months, and to establish a new Palestinian police force trained in Egypt, alongside an international stabilization force.
These developments come as Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement continue, amid ongoing disputes regarding the Israeli withdrawal, reconstruction, and the future of Palestinian weapons.
