دوى انفجار في منطقة الحجاز بالعاصمة السورية دمشق، اليوم (الخميس)، مخلفاً أكثر من 21 قتيلاً وجريحاً، وبحسب وسائل إعلام فإن الانفجار ناجم عن عبوة ناسفة.
وذكرت وكالة الأنباء السورية «سانا» أن الانفجار وقع داخل مقهى في العاصمة دمشق، مشيرة إلى أن الجهات المختصة باشرت التحقيق في ملابساته.
ونقلت الوكالة عن مدير الإسعاف والطوارئ في وزارة الصحة الدكتور أحمد البكور قوله: هناك 14 ضحية تم نقلها من مكان الانفجار في شارع النصر بدمشق إلى مشفى المجتهد، منها 4 وفيات و10 إصابات، وهناك إصابة تم نقلها إلى مشفى الهلال الأحمر السوري، لكن مصادر في وزارة الصحة قالت إن عدد القتلى ارتفع إلى 5 وهناك أكثر من 16 مصاباً.
بدوره، أفاد تلفزيون سورية أن الانفجار وقع في القسم الصيفي من المقهى، داخل عبّارة سوق الكهرباء، وهو القسم الذي يرتاده المحامون ومراجعو القصر العدلي بشكل رئيسي.
ونقل التلفزيون عن مصدر نفيه أن يكون الانفجار ناجماً عن بطارية ليثيوم أو أسطوانة غاز، خلافاً لما أُشيع، مؤكداً أن فرق الإسعاف والدفاع المدني والقوى الأمنية سارعت إلى موقع الحادث.
وأضاف التلفزيون أن حصيلة ضحايا الانفجار ارتفعت إلى نحو 15 شخصاً بين قتيل وجريح، في حين لم تصدر حتى الآن أي حصيلة رسمية من الجهات المختصة تؤكد أعداد الضحايا أو تكشف أسباب الانفجار.
وذكر شهود عيان بأن الحصيلة الأولية تشير إلى إصابة 15 شخصاً، بينهم خمسة في حالة حرجة، مبينة أن الانفجار وقع في مقهى بالقرب من القصر العدلي.
وأشار الشهود إلى أن الانفجار تسبب بأضرار محدودة داخل المقهى، فيما فرضت الأجهزة الأمنية طوقاً أمنياً حول موقع الحادث.
ولا تزال ملابسات الحادث وأسبابه غير معروفة حتى اللحظة، فيما تشهد المنطقة استنفاراً أمنياً وإغلاقاً لمحيط موقع الانفجار، بالتزامن مع استمرار عمليات إسعاف المصابين ونقلهم إلى المشافي.

The Syrian news agency "SANA" reported that the explosion took place inside a café in the capital, Damascus, noting that the relevant authorities have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding it.
The agency quoted Dr. Ahmad al-Bakkour, the director of ambulance and emergency services at the Ministry of Health, saying: There are 14 victims who were transported from the explosion site on Al-Nasr Street in Damascus to Al-Mujtahid Hospital, including 4 fatalities and 10 injuries. One injury was taken to the Syrian Red Crescent Hospital, but sources in the Ministry of Health stated that the death toll has risen to 5, with more than 16 injured.
For its part, Syrian television reported that the explosion occurred in the summer section of the café, inside the electricity market passage, which is mainly frequented by lawyers and visitors to the courthouse.
The television quoted a source denying that the explosion was caused by a lithium battery or a gas cylinder, contrary to what has been rumored, confirming that ambulance, civil defense, and security forces rushed to the scene of the incident.
The television added that the toll of the explosion victims has risen to about 15 people, including the dead and injured, while no official toll has yet been issued by the relevant authorities confirming the number of victims or revealing the causes of the explosion.
Eyewitnesses reported that the initial toll indicates that 15 people were injured, including five in critical condition, noting that the explosion occurred in a café near the courthouse.
Witnesses pointed out that the explosion caused limited damage inside the café, while security forces imposed a security cordon around the site of the incident.
The circumstances and causes of the incident remain unknown at this time, while the area is witnessing heightened security and the closure of the vicinity of the explosion site, coinciding with ongoing efforts to rescue the injured and transport them to hospitals.
