أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب عزمه إلقاء خطاب جماهيري في العاصمة الأمريكية واشنطن، الأربعاء القادم، تحت شعار «أمريكا عادت»، موجهاً دعوة مباشرة إلى أنصاره للمشاركة في التجمّع المرتقب الذي يتوقع أن يحظى بمتابعة سياسية وإعلامية واسعة.
وقال ترمب، في منشور عبر منصة «تروث سوشيال»، إن الولايات المتحدة شهدت تحولاً كبيراً خلال الفترة الماضية، معتبراً أن البلاد انتقلت من مرحلة التراجع إلى ما وصفه بمرحلة جديدة من القوة والازدهار.
وأضاف الرئيس الأمريكي أن الولايات المتحدة كانت «ميتة» قبل عامين، وفق تعبيره، لكنها أصبحت اليوم «الأكثر سخونة وازدهاراً» مقارنة بأي مكان آخر في العالم، في إشارة إلى ما يعتبره نجاحاً لسياساته الاقتصادية والسياسية.
ويأتي إعلان ترمب الخطاب المرتقب في وقت يواصل فيه الترويج لإنجازات إدارته، خصوصاً في الملفات الاقتصادية والتجارية وقضايا الهجرة والسياسة الخارجية، وهي ملفات يتوقع أن تحضر بقوة خلال كلمته أمام أنصاره في واشنطن.
ويحرص ترمب خلال خطاباته الجماهيرية على استخدام شعارات تهدف إلى حشد قاعدته الشعبية، إذ سبق أن اعتمد شعار «لنجعل أمريكا عظيمة مجدداً» خلال حملاته الانتخابية السابقة، قبل أن يركز أخيراً على رسائل تتعلق بـ«استعادة قوة الولايات المتحدة» وتعزيز الاقتصاد الأمريكي.
كما يأتي الخطاب المرتقب وسط حالة من الاستقطاب السياسي المتصاعد داخل الولايات المتحدة، مع استمرار الجدل بشأن ملفات الاقتصاد والتضخم والهجرة، إلى جانب المنافسة السياسية المحتدمة بين الحزبين الجمهوري والديمقراطي قبل الاستحقاقات الانتخابية المقبلة.
ومن المتوقع أن يتضمن خطاب ترمب رسائل موجهة إلى الداخل الأمريكي بشأن الأداء الاقتصادي وفرص الاستثمار وسوق العمل، إضافة إلى مواقفه من عدد من القضايا الدولية التي تشهدها الساحة العالمية خلال المرحلة الحالية.
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced his intention to deliver a rally speech in the U.S. capital, Washington, next Wednesday, under the slogan "America is Back," directly inviting his supporters to participate in the anticipated gathering, which is expected to receive wide political and media attention.
Trump stated, in a post on the "Truth Social" platform, that the United States has undergone a significant transformation in recent times, considering that the country has moved from a phase of decline to what he described as a new phase of strength and prosperity.
The U.S. president added that the United States was "dead" two years ago, in his words, but has now become "the hottest and most prosperous" compared to any other place in the world, referring to what he sees as a success of his economic and political policies.
Trump's announcement of the upcoming speech comes at a time when he continues to promote the achievements of his administration, particularly in economic, trade, immigration, and foreign policy issues, which are expected to be prominently addressed during his speech to his supporters in Washington.
During his rallies, Trump is keen to use slogans aimed at rallying his grassroots supporters, having previously adopted the slogan "Make America Great Again" during his past election campaigns, before recently focusing on messages related to "restoring the strength of the United States" and boosting the American economy.
The anticipated speech also comes amid a climate of rising political polarization within the United States, with ongoing debates over economic issues, inflation, and immigration, alongside the fierce political competition between the Republican and Democratic parties ahead of the upcoming elections.
Trump's speech is expected to include messages directed at the American public regarding economic performance, investment opportunities, and the labor market, in addition to his positions on several international issues currently facing the global arena.
