صعّدت فرنسا من إجراءاتها ضد جماعة الإخوان الإرهابية العابرة للحدود في أوروبا، واعتبر رئيس الوزراء الفرنسي سيباستيان لوكورنو أن قرار محكمة مدينة نانت غرب فرنسا بتأييد حظر تنظيم مؤتمر «لقاء المسلمين في الغرب» يمثل خطوة مهمة في مواجهة تسلل جماعة الإخوان.
وقال لوكورنو في منشور على منصة «إكس»: «الحكم القضائي الصادر في نانت يشكل تقدماً مهماً في مكافحة تسلل جماعة الإخوان»، مضيفاً: «في مواجهة الإسلام السياسي يجب على الجمهورية أن تكون حازمة ودقيقة دون أي شائبة قانونية».
ووجه رئيس الوزراء الفرنسي شكره لفرق وزارة الداخلية على جهودها، في تصريح عقب رفض المحكمة الإدارية في نانت طعناً تقدم به منظمو الحدث، وأيدت قرار محافظة لوار أتلانتيك ووزارة الداخلية بحظر المؤتمر الذي كان مقرراً عقده يومي 23 و24 مايو 2026 في مسجد السلام بحي مالاكوف في مدينة نانت.
وبرر وزير الداخلية لوران نونيز القرار بأن «الأقوال التي كان من المحتمل إلقاؤها خلال هذا الحدث من شأنها الإضرار بالتماسك الوطني وكرامة الإنسان».
وتتزامن الإجراءات الفرنسية ضد «الإخوان» مع سياسة متصاعدة لمواجهة «الإسلام السياسي» وأنشطة جماعة الإخوان في فرنسا، خصوصاً أنها كانت قد اتخذت إجراءات مشابهة شملت حل جمعيات ومنع فعاليات ومراقبة خطب المساجد.
يذكر أن مدينة نانت من المدن التي تشهد نشاطاً ملحوظاً لجماعة الإخوان في فرنسا، وغالباً ما تكون محط أنظار السلطات في قضايا التطرف والاندماج.
France has intensified its measures against the transnational terrorist group, the Muslim Brotherhood, in Europe. French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu considered the decision of the court in the city of Nantes, western France, to uphold the ban on the organization of the "Meeting of Muslims in the West" as an important step in confronting the infiltration of the Brotherhood.
Lecornu stated in a post on the "X" platform: "The judicial ruling issued in Nantes represents an important advance in combating the infiltration of the Brotherhood," adding: "In the face of political Islam, the Republic must be firm and precise without any legal blemish."
The French Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the teams of the Ministry of the Interior for their efforts, in a statement following the administrative court in Nantes rejecting an appeal made by the event organizers, and upheld the decision of the Loire-Atlantique prefecture and the Ministry of the Interior to ban the conference that was scheduled to be held on May 23 and 24, 2026, at the Mosque of Peace in the Malakoff district of Nantes.
Interior Minister Laurent Nunez justified the decision by stating that "the statements that were likely to be made during this event could harm national cohesion and human dignity."
The French measures against the "Brotherhood" coincide with an escalating policy to confront "political Islam" and the activities of the Brotherhood in France, especially since similar measures have been taken, including dissolving associations, banning events, and monitoring mosque sermons.
It is worth noting that the city of Nantes is one of the cities witnessing notable activity of the Brotherhood in France, and it often attracts the attention of authorities in issues of extremism and integration.
