أعلنت شرطة إمارة موناكو، أمس (الإثنين)، إصابة ثلاثة أشخاص في انفجار طرد مفخخ أمام أحد المباني، مؤكدة أن قوات الأمن تواصل مطاردة مشتبه به فر من المكان.
وذكرت الشرطة أنه يُعتقد أن رجلاً وضع طرداً مفخخاً أمام بهو المبنى ثم لاذ بالفرار، ويُرجح أن الانفجار وقع لحظة وصول عدة أشخاص إلى المكان.
وقالت وسائل إعلام غربية إن انفجاراً دوى في بهو المبنى، وهرعت على إثره سيارات الإسعاف والإنقاذ إلى موقع الحادث فور سماعه.
وإمارة موناكو دولة أوروبية مستقلة يسكنها حوالى 39000 نسمة، وتعد الدولة الأكثر كثافة سكانية في العالم، نظراً لأن مساحتها لا تتجاوز 2.02 كيلومتر مربع، وتقع على ساحل الريفييرا الفرنسية، ويُعرف سكانها الأصليون باسم «الموناكيين»، بينما تستقطب الإمارة أعداداً كبيرة من كبار الأثرياء بفضل انعدام ضريبة الدخل.
