وسط توقعات بقرب الإعلان عن اتفاق بين واشنطن وطهران، أكد مسؤول أمريكي اليوم (السبت) أن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب لم يتخذ بعد قراراً نهائياً بشأن الاتفاق مع إيران.
ونقل موقع «أكسيوس» عن المسؤول قوله إن ترمب أجرى اتصالاً بقادة السعودية وقطر والإمارات ومصر وتركيا وباكستان، وحثوه خلال الاتصال على قبول الاتفاق، مبيناً أن الرئيس استدعى نائبه جي دي فانس من أوهايو ووزير الدفاع من نيويورك إلى واشنطن لعقد اجتماع بشأن الاتفاق.
وأشار المسؤول إلى أن الخلافات لا تزال تتركز على صياغة بعض النقاط.
الاتفاق في مرحلته النهائية
بدوره، قال مسؤول باكستاني إن اتفاقاً مؤقتاً في مرحلته النهائية يُعد شاملاً إلى حد بعيد لإنهاء الحرب. وبحسب ما نقلته وكالة «رويترز»، فإن الاتفاق لا يمكن اعتباره منتهياً قبل إنجازه فعلياً، موضحاً أن الاتفاق المؤقت يعيد الجانبين إلى مرحلة كانا فيها على وشك التوصل إلى تفاهم خلال محادثات إسلام آباد.
من جهته، قال مسؤول أمني باكستاني مطلع على زيارة قائد الجيش إلى طهران واجتماعاته مع القادة الإيرانيين إن مذكرة تفاهم يجري وضع اللمسات الأخيرة عليها لإنهاء الحرب بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران، مبيناً أن الزيارة أحرزت تقدماً كبيراً بشأن نقاط المحادثات التي تتوسط فيها إسلام آباد.
نقاط الاتفاق المبدئي
ونقلت صحيفة «فاينانشال تايمز» البريطانية، اليوم، عن مصادر ووسطاء في المفاوضات بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران قولهم إن الطرفين على وشك التوصل إلى اتفاق لتمديد وقف إطلاق النار 60 يوماً، ووضع إطار للمحادثات حول البرنامج النووي الإيراني.
وأضافت الصحيفة أن مقترح الاتفاق يشمل إعادة فتح مضيق هرمز تدريجياً، والالتزام بتخفيف مخزون إيران من اليورانيوم عالي التخصيب أو تسليمه، موضحة أن الاتفاق -إذا أُبرم- يقضي بتخفيف الحصار البحري على الموانئ الإيرانية، وتخفيف العقوبات ورفع الحظر عن الأصول الإيرانية المجمدة.
وقال مصدر دبلوماسي ووسطاء للصحيفة إن الأمل معقود على أن تثني بنود الاتفاق ترمب عن استئناف الحرب على إيران.
بدورها، نقلت صحيفة «واشنطن تايمز» عن مصدر مطلع على المحادثات بين البلدين أن الولايات المتحدة وإيران تتجهان إلى الإعلان عن اتفاق سلام نهائي لإنهاء المواجهات على مختلف الجبهات بحلول مساء الأحد، موضحة أن مسودة الاتفاق تم التوافق عليها في الساعات الأولى من صباح اليوم، على أن يتم الإعلان الرسمي خلال 24 ساعة.
وأشارت المصادر إلى أن كبار المفاوضين وافقوا على الصيغة النهائية للمقترح، بينهم رئيس البرلمان الإيراني محمد باقر قاليباف، ونائب الرئيس الأمريكي جاي دي فانس، والمبعوث الأمريكي الخاص ستيف ويتكوف، إضافة إلى جاريد كوشنر، وتم إرسال النسخة الأولية من اتفاق السلام إلى قادة البلدين للحصول على الموافقة النهائية.
اتصالات بين نتنياهو وترمب
ولا تزال تفاصيل اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار المحتمل غير واضحة، إذ ليس معروفاً كيف سيتم حل الخلافات الرئيسية، بما في ذلك مصير البرنامج النووي الإيراني ومطلب طهران برفع العقوبات.
في المقابل، ذكر مصدر إسرائيلي لشبكة «سي إن إن» أن رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو سيعقد اجتماعاً أمنياً محدوداً لمناقشة تطورات المفاوضات مع إيران، فيما قال مسؤول آخر لموقع «أكسيوس» إن ترمب سيبحث اليوم، في اتصال هاتفي مع نتنياهو، الاتفاق النووي مع إيران.
Amid expectations of an imminent announcement of an agreement between Washington and Tehran, a U.S. official confirmed today (Saturday) that President Donald Trump has not yet made a final decision regarding the agreement with Iran.
The Axios website reported the official saying that Trump had contacted leaders from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Egypt, Turkey, and Pakistan, who urged him during the call to accept the agreement, noting that the president summoned Vice President JD Vance from Ohio and the Secretary of Defense from New York to Washington for a meeting regarding the agreement.
The official indicated that disagreements still focus on the wording of certain points.
The Agreement in Its Final Stage
For his part, a Pakistani official stated that a temporary agreement in its final stage is largely comprehensive for ending the war. According to what Reuters reported, the agreement cannot be considered finalized until it is actually completed, explaining that the temporary agreement brings both sides back to a stage where they were on the verge of reaching an understanding during the Islamabad talks.
Meanwhile, a Pakistani security official familiar with the army chief's visit to Tehran and his meetings with Iranian leaders said that a memorandum of understanding is being finalized to end the war between the United States and Iran, indicating that the visit made significant progress regarding the points of discussion mediated by Islamabad.
Initial Agreement Points
The British newspaper Financial Times reported today that sources and intermediaries in the negotiations between the United States and Iran said that the two sides are on the verge of reaching an agreement to extend the ceasefire for 60 days and establish a framework for talks on the Iranian nuclear program.
The newspaper added that the proposed agreement includes a gradual reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and a commitment to reduce Iran's stockpile of enriched uranium or to transfer it, clarifying that the agreement—if concluded—provides for easing the maritime blockade on Iranian ports, lifting sanctions, and unfreezing Iranian assets.
A diplomatic source and intermediaries told the newspaper that there is hope that the terms of the agreement will dissuade Trump from resuming the war on Iran.
For its part, the Washington Times reported that a source familiar with the talks between the two countries indicated that the United States and Iran are heading towards announcing a final peace agreement to end confrontations on various fronts by Sunday evening, explaining that the draft agreement was agreed upon in the early hours of today, with an official announcement expected within 24 hours.
Sources indicated that senior negotiators agreed on the final wording of the proposal, including Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, U.S. Vice President JD Vance, U.S. Special Envoy Steve Wittekov, as well as Jared Kushner, and the initial version of the peace agreement was sent to the leaders of both countries for final approval.
Contacts Between Netanyahu and Trump
The details of the potential ceasefire agreement remain unclear, as it is not known how the main disagreements will be resolved, including the fate of the Iranian nuclear program and Tehran's demand for the lifting of sanctions.
In contrast, an Israeli source told CNN that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will hold a limited security meeting to discuss developments in the negotiations with Iran, while another official told Axios that Trump will discuss the nuclear agreement with Iran today in a phone call with Netanyahu.
