أعرب كبير مبعوثي مجلس السلام إلى غزة، نيكولاي ملادينوف، اليوم (الإثنين) عن تفاؤله بإمكانية التوصل إلى اتفاق بشأن خطة نزع سلاح حركة حماس والفصائل المسلحة الأخرى في قطاع غزة، موضحاً أن الأمر سيستغرق بعض الوقت.
وقال ملادينوف في مقابلة مع وكالة «رويترز» في بروكسل: «أجرينا بعض المناقشات الجادة للغاية مع حماس، خلال الأسابيع القليلة الماضية، وهي ليست سهلة»، مضيفاً: «أنا متفائل إلى حد ما بأننا سنتمكن من التوصل إلى ترتيب يرضي جميع الأطراف، والأهم من ذلك، يرضي سكان غزة».
وأشار إلى أن العمل جار على إعداد خطة تنفيذ تشمل نزع السلاح، وتشكيل إدارة جديدة في غزة، ووضع بنود لانسحاب إسرائيلي، لافتاً إلى أنهم يحاولون التأكد من التوصل إلى اتفاق بشأن ترتيبات تنفيذ الخطة بأسرع ما يمكن.
وتتفاقم الأزمة الإنسانية في قطاع غزة رغم وقف إطلاق النار، مع استمرار الخروقات ونقص الإمدادات الطبية.
وتنص خطة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب بشأن غزة، التي وافقت عليها إسرائيل و«حماس»، في أكتوبر الماضي، على انسحاب القوات الإسرائيلية من القطاع، وبدء إعادة الإعمار بمجرد أن تلقي «حماس» سلاحها.
وذكر تقرير مشترك للأمم المتحدة والاتحاد الأوروبي أن احتياجات قطاع غزة من أجل التعافي وإعادة الإعمار تقدر بنحو 71.4 مليار دولار على مدى السنوات الـ10 القادمة.
The Chief Envoy of the Peace Council to Gaza, Nikolai Mladenov, expressed today (Monday) his optimism about the possibility of reaching an agreement on a disarmament plan for Hamas and other armed factions in the Gaza Strip, noting that it will take some time.
Mladenov said in an interview with Reuters in Brussels: "We have had some very serious discussions with Hamas over the past few weeks, and they are not easy," adding: "I am somewhat optimistic that we will be able to reach an arrangement that satisfies all parties, and most importantly, satisfies the residents of Gaza."
He pointed out that work is underway to prepare an implementation plan that includes disarmament, the establishment of a new administration in Gaza, and provisions for an Israeli withdrawal, noting that they are trying to ensure that an agreement on the arrangements for implementing the plan is reached as quickly as possible.
The humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip is worsening despite the ceasefire, with ongoing violations and a shortage of medical supplies.
The plan of U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Gaza, which was approved by Israel and Hamas last October, stipulates the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the area and the commencement of reconstruction as soon as Hamas lays down its arms.
A joint report from the United Nations and the European Union stated that the needs of the Gaza Strip for recovery and reconstruction are estimated at about $71.4 billion over the next 10 years.
