استدعت الهند، اليوم (السبت)، السفير الإيراني لدى نيودلهي محمد فتحلي، لتقديم احتجاج رسمي عقب تعرّض سفينة ترفع العلم الهندي لإطلاق نار في مضيق هرمز، ما أثار توتراً دبلوماسياً في ظل الأزمة الإقليمية المتصاعدة.
ونقلت وسائل إعلام هندية عن مصدر حكومي قوله إن نيودلهي ستُعرب عن مخاوفها الجادة واستيائها من الحادث، وسط تزايد التساؤلات حول ملابسات فتح القوات الإيرانية النار على سفن مدنية.
استهداف ناقلة هندية
وأضاف المصدر أن سفينة تحمل اسم «سمانمار هيرالد»، وترفع العلم الهندي، كانت تنقل شحنة من النفط الخام، تعرّضت لهجوم اليوم أثناء محاولتها عبور مضيق هرمز، مؤكداً أن طاقم السفينة بخير.
إجراءات ميدانية وتقييد للملاحة
في المقابل، نقلت شبكة «فوكس نيوز» عن مسؤول استخباراتي إقليمي قوله إن مضيق هرمز بات تحت السيطرة الكاملة للحرس الثوري الإيراني، وإنه مغلق فعلياً في الوقت الراهن، عقب تصعيد عسكري متسارع في المنطقة.
وأوضح المسؤول أن عدة سفن تجارية أُجبرت، منذ صباح اليوم (السبت)، على تغيير مسارها والعودة أثناء محاولتها عبور المضيق، في مؤشر على بدء تنفيذ إجراءات ميدانية لتقييد الملاحة.
شروط طهران لعبور «هرمز»
وكانت القيادة العسكرية الإيرانية المشتركة قد أعلنت، في وقت مبكر اليوم، السيطرة على مضيق هرمز وإعادته إلى وضعه السابق، مؤكدة أن الممر بات تحت الإدارة والرقابة الصارمة للقوات المسلحة الإيرانية.
وحذّرت القيادة من استمرار منع المرور البحري ما دام، -وفق وصفها-، «الحصار الأمريكي» على الموانئ الإيرانية قائماً.
فيما قال رئيس لجنة الأمن القومي في البرلمان الإيراني، إبراهيم عزيزي، إن السفن الراغبة في العبور قد تُلزم بالحصول على تصاريح بحرية إيرانية ودفع رسوم قبل السماح لها بالملاحة.
مقترح أمريكي قيد الدراسة
من جهة أخرى، يدرس مجلس الأمن القومي الإيراني مقترحاً أمريكياً جديداً، عقب وساطة باكستانية خلال الأيام الأخيرة. وبحسب التلفزيون الإيراني، لم يصدر المجلس حتى الآن رداً رسمياً على هذه المقترحات.
India summoned the Iranian ambassador to New Delhi, Mohammad Fathali, today (Saturday) to deliver a formal protest following the shooting at an Indian-flagged ship in the Strait of Hormuz, which has raised diplomatic tensions amid the escalating regional crisis.
Indian media reported a government source stating that New Delhi would express its serious concerns and dissatisfaction regarding the incident, amid increasing questions about the circumstances under which Iranian forces opened fire on civilian vessels.
Targeting an Indian tanker
The source added that a ship named "Samanmar Herald," flying the Indian flag, was transporting a cargo of crude oil and came under attack today while attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz, confirming that the crew of the ship is safe.
Field measures and navigation restrictions
In contrast, the "Fox News" network quoted a regional intelligence official stating that the Strait of Hormuz is now fully under the control of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and is effectively closed at this time, following a rapid military escalation in the region.
The official explained that several commercial ships have been forced, since this morning (Saturday), to change their course and turn back while attempting to cross the strait, indicating the beginning of the implementation of field measures to restrict navigation.
Tehran's conditions for crossing "Hormuz"
The Iranian Joint Military Command announced earlier today that it has regained control of the Strait of Hormuz and returned it to its previous status, confirming that the passage is now under strict management and oversight of the Iranian armed forces.
It warned that maritime passage would continue to be prevented as long as, in its description, the "American blockade" on Iranian ports remains in place.
Meanwhile, the head of the National Security Committee in the Iranian parliament, Ibrahim Azizi, stated that ships wishing to cross may be required to obtain Iranian maritime permits and pay fees before being allowed to navigate.
American proposal under consideration
On another note, the Iranian National Security Council is considering a new American proposal following Pakistani mediation in recent days. According to Iranian television, the council has not yet issued an official response to these proposals.
