في الوقت الذي تعقد فيه الحكومة الإسرائيلية اجتماعاً أمنياً لمناقشة نتائج تطورات الوضع بعد فشل مفاوضات إسلام آباد، هدد الحرس الثوري الإيراني، اليوم (الأحد)، باستهداف أي سفينة حربية تقترب من مضيق هرمز.
وشدد الحرس الثوري في بيان على أن اقتراب سفن حربية من مضيق هرمز سيُعتبر خرقاً لوقف إطلاق النار لمدة أسبوعين وفق الاتفاق مع الولايات المتحدة، وسيتم التعامل معها بحزم.
وأشار الحرس الثوري إلى سيطرته على مضيق هرمز وإدارته الذكية من قبل قوات البحرية التابعة له.
من جهته، قال أمين مجلس الإعلام الحكومي الإيراني: «إيران ليست فنزويلا ومصداقية التهديدات الأمريكية تآكلت».
في المقابل، قال مسؤول إسرائيلي: «ننتظر قرار ترمب للعودة إلى القتال في إيران»، موضحاً أن بلاده معنية بذلك.
في غضون ذلك، دعت هيئة العمليات البحرية البريطانية السفن إلى الحذر أثناء العبور أمام سواحل اليمن بعد حادثة وقعت جنوب غرب الحديدة، وأضافت أن مسلحين على متن قارب حاولوا إيقاف سفينة جنوب غربي الحديدة.
من جهة أخرى، دعا وزير الخارجية العُماني بدر البوسعيدي اليوم (الأحد) الولايات المتحدة وإيران للعمل على تمديد الهدنة وتقديم تنازلات مؤلمة من أجل إنجاح المفاوضات الرامية إلى وضع حل نهائي للحرب.
وكتب البوسعيدي على حسابه في «إكس»: «قد يتطلب النجاح من الجميع تقديم تنازلات مؤلمة، لكن ذلك لا يقارن بألم وفشل الحرب»، داعياً إلى تمديد الهدنة الحالية لمدة أسبوعين ومواصلة المحادثات.
At the same time that the Israeli government is holding a security meeting to discuss the developments following the failure of the Islamabad negotiations, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard threatened today (Sunday) to target any warship approaching the Strait of Hormuz.
The Revolutionary Guard emphasized in a statement that the approach of warships to the Strait of Hormuz will be considered a violation of the two-week ceasefire according to the agreement with the United States, and it will be dealt with firmly.
The Revolutionary Guard pointed out its control over the Strait of Hormuz and its smart management by its naval forces.
For his part, the Secretary of the Iranian Government Media Council stated: "Iran is not Venezuela, and the credibility of American threats has eroded."
In contrast, an Israeli official said: "We are waiting for Trump's decision to return to fighting in Iran," clarifying that his country is concerned about this.
Meanwhile, the British Maritime Operations Authority urged ships to exercise caution while transiting off the coast of Yemen following an incident that occurred southwest of Hudaydah, adding that armed men on a boat attempted to stop a ship southwest of Hudaydah.
On another note, Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi called today (Sunday) on the United States and Iran to work towards extending the truce and making painful concessions to ensure the success of negotiations aimed at reaching a final solution to the war.
Al-Busaidi wrote on his account on "X": "Success may require everyone to make painful concessions, but that pales in comparison to the pain and failure of war," calling for the current truce to be extended for two weeks and for talks to continue.
