أكد الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون، اليوم (الخميس)، أن أي عملية عسكرية لتحرير مضيق هرمز ستكون غير واقعية، معتبراً أن الحرب لا يمكن أن تقدم حلاً دائماً للمسألة النووية.
وقال ماكرون: «ترمب يقوض عمل الناتو بإبدائه شكوكا بشأن التزامات الولايات المتحدة إزاء الناتو»، مضيفاً: «قرار الحرب في إيران اتخذه الأمريكيون والإسرائيليون بشكل منفرد».
من جهة أخرى، أكدت الخارجية القطرية أن رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية الشيخ محمد بن عبدالرحمن بن جاسم آل ثاني تلقى اتصالا من وزير خارجية ألمانيا لبحث تداعيات التصعيد الخطيرة إقليميا ودوليا، موضحة ضرورة وقف الاعتداءات الإيرانية غير المبررة على قطر ودول المنطقة، محذرة من استهداف البنية التحتية الحيوية المرتبطة بالمياه والغذاء ومنشآت الطاقة.
في غضون ذلك، أكد المتحدث باسم الكرملين ديميتري بيسكوف اليوم أن روسيا مستعدة للمساهمة في التوصل إلى تسوية لحرب إيران، موضحاً أن الرئيس فلاديمير بوتين يواصل التحدث مع زعماء المنطقة في هذا الشأن.
وقال بيسكوف للصحفيين: «الرئيس يواصل تلك الاتصالات وإذا كانت خدماتنا مطلوبة بشكل ما، فنحن بالتأكيد مستعدون للمساهمة في ضمان تحول الموقف العسكري إلى مسار سلمي في أسرع وقت ممكن».
وأضاف بيسكوف: «روسيا تعتبر حلف شمال الأطلسي تحالفاً معادياً».
French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed today (Thursday) that any military operation to liberate the Strait of Hormuz would be unrealistic, considering that war cannot provide a permanent solution to the nuclear issue.
Macron said: "Trump undermines NATO's work by expressing doubts about the United States' commitments to NATO," adding: "The decision for war in Iran was made unilaterally by the Americans and Israelis."
On the other hand, the Qatari Foreign Ministry confirmed that Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani received a call from the German Foreign Minister to discuss the serious regional and international escalation, emphasizing the need to stop Iran's unjustified attacks on Qatar and the countries of the region, warning against targeting vital infrastructure related to water, food, and energy facilities.
Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed today that Russia is ready to contribute to reaching a settlement for the Iran war, explaining that President Vladimir Putin continues to speak with regional leaders in this regard.
Peskov told reporters: "The president continues those communications, and if our services are needed in some way, we are certainly ready to contribute to ensuring that the military situation shifts to a peaceful path as soon as possible."
Peskov added: "Russia considers NATO to be an antagonistic alliance."
