أكد رئيس حزب القوات اللبنانية سمير جعجع، أن حزب الله انتهى، مشدداً على عدم قبول دفع الدولة اللبنانية أي أموال في الحرب التي تدور بين حزب الله وإسرائيل.
وقال في حديث لقناة (إم تي في) اللبنانية، اليوم الثلاثاء: إن تلك الحرب لم يخترها لبنان ولم يكن له قرار بخوضها.
وأضاف جعجع: «أشك في أن تنتهي الأعمال الحربية الآن قبل إيجاد حل نهائي لحزب الله، الذي انتهى في لبنان وعند العرب وفي الخارج».
وجدد التأكيد على أن الدولة اللبنانية لن تقبل أن تدفع ليرة واحدة على حرب لم نخترها ولم يكن لدينا القرار بخوضها، وعلى الدولة اللبنانية المطالبة بالتعويضات من إيران.
وأضاف رئيس حزب القوات اللبنانية: «لن يبقى الشرق الأوسط كما كان منذ 40 عاماً حتى اليوم، وهناك قرار أمريكي إسرائيلي بإنهاء حزب الله، وكلام حزب الله عن «قلب البلد» بعد الحرب غير مقبول أبداً، وأقول لهم:»ما تفكروا الدنيا فالتة».
وعلق رئيس حزب القوات اللبنانية على طرد السفير الإيراني قائلاً: «حسناً فعلت الحكومة اللبنانية بقرار طرد السفير الإيراني»، لافتا إلى أن وزير الخارجية اللبناني يوسف رجي بحث هذا القرار مع رئيس الجمهورية ورئيس الحكومة.
وأفاد جعجع بأن هذا القرار كان يجب اتخاذه منذ فترة زمنية طويلة، بسبب تدخل إيران في لبنان، مؤكداً أن الأحداث الأخيرة التي حصلت في لبنان أثبتت، بما لا يحتمل الشك أن الحرس الثوري الإيراني موجود في لبنان، على الأقل بمئات الأشخاص، وهو يدير العمليات مباشرة.
The President of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, confirmed that Hezbollah is finished, stressing that the Lebanese state should not pay any money in the war between Hezbollah and Israel.
In an interview with the Lebanese channel (MTV) today, Tuesday, he stated that Lebanon did not choose that war and had no decision to engage in it.
Geagea added: “I doubt that the hostilities will end now before finding a final solution for Hezbollah, which is finished in Lebanon, among the Arabs, and abroad.”
He reiterated that the Lebanese state will not accept to pay a single lira for a war that we did not choose and had no decision to engage in, and that the Lebanese state should demand compensation from Iran.
The President of the Lebanese Forces Party added: “The Middle East will not remain as it has been for the past 40 years until today, and there is an American-Israeli decision to end Hezbollah. Hezbollah's talk about ‘changing the country’ after the war is completely unacceptable, and I tell them: ‘Don’t think the world is out of control.’”
Geagea commented on the expulsion of the Iranian ambassador, saying: “The Lebanese government did well with the decision to expel the Iranian ambassador,” pointing out that the Lebanese Foreign Minister, Youssef Raji, discussed this decision with the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister.
Geagea stated that this decision should have been made a long time ago due to Iran's interference in Lebanon, affirming that the recent events that occurred in Lebanon have proven, beyond any doubt, that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard is present in Lebanon, with at least hundreds of personnel, and it is directly managing operations.
