أعلنت قطر اليوم (الأربعاء) طرد الملحق العسكري والملحق الأمني في السفارة الإيرانية، والعاملين في الملحقيتين، مؤكدة أنهم أشخاص غير مرغوب فيهم.
وقالت وزارة الخارجية القطرية في بيان على حسابها في «إكس»: «سلّمت وزارة الخارجية مذكرة رسمية إلى سفارة إيران لدى الدولة، تفيد بأن دولة قطر تعتبر كلاً من الملحق العسكري والملحق الأمني في السفارة، إضافة إلى العاملين في الملحقيتين، أشخاصاً غير مرغوب فيهم، وتطلب منهم مغادرة أراضي الدولة خلال مدة أقصاها (24) ساعة».
وأوضحت الوزارة أن ذلك القرار جاء خلال اجتماع عقده مدير إدارة المراسم بوزارة الخارجية السيد إبراهيم يوسف فخرو اليوم مع السفير الإيراني في قطر علي صالح آبادي، مبينة أن هذا القرار يأتي على خلفية الاستهدافات الإيرانية المتكررة والعدوان الغاشم الذي طال دولة قطر وانتهك سيادتها وأمنها، في مخالفة صارخة لمبادئ القانون الدولي وقرار مجلس الأمن رقم (2817) وقواعد حسن الجوار.
وشدّدت الوزارة على أن استمرار الجانب الإيراني في هذا النهج العدائي سيقابل باتخاذ دولة قطر إجراءات إضافية، بما يضمن حماية سيادتها وأمنها ومصالحها الوطنية، مؤكدة أن دولة قطر تحتفظ بحقها في اتخاذ ما يلزم من إجراءات لحماية سيادتها وأمنها، بما يتوافق مع أحكام القانون الدولي.
Qatar announced today (Wednesday) the expulsion of the military attaché and the security attaché at the Iranian embassy, along with the staff of both attachés, confirming that they are undesirable individuals.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement on its account on "X": "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has delivered an official memorandum to the Iranian embassy in the country, indicating that the State of Qatar considers both the military attaché and the security attaché at the embassy, in addition to the staff of both attachés, as undesirable individuals, and requests that they leave the territory of the state within a maximum period of (24) hours."
The ministry clarified that this decision came during a meeting held today by the Director of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ibrahim Yusuf Fakhro, with the Iranian ambassador to Qatar, Ali Saleh Abadi, noting that this decision comes in light of the repeated Iranian aggressions and the blatant aggression that has targeted the State of Qatar and violated its sovereignty and security, in a flagrant violation of the principles of international law and Security Council Resolution No. (2817) and the rules of good neighborliness.
The ministry emphasized that the continuation of the Iranian side in this hostile approach will be met with the State of Qatar taking additional measures to ensure the protection of its sovereignty, security, and national interests, affirming that the State of Qatar reserves the right to take whatever measures are necessary to protect its sovereignty and security, in accordance with the provisions of international law.
