أفادت مصادر ميدانية بأن قوات الدعم السريع استهدفت عدة مواقع مدنية في مدينة الأبيض، عاصمة ولاية شمال كردفان، عبر هجوم بطائرات مسيّرة في الساعات الأولى من فجر اليوم (الجمعة).
وطالت عمليات القصف قاعات الدراسة في جامعة كردفان للمرة الثانية خلال أسبوع، واستهدف مركز الإمداد الدوائي بالمدينة ومنزلاً لأحد المواطنين في حي رياض الصالحين.
وأفادت المعلومات بعدم تسجيل إصابات بشرية في صفوف المدنيين، فيما لحقت أضرار مادية بالمباني المستهدفة.
من جهته، أعلن مصدر عسكري أن الدفاعات الأرضية التابعة للجيش أسقطت نحو 11 مسيّرة انتحارية كانت تشارك في الهجوم على مدينة الأبيض.
وتصاعد استخدام المسيرات أخيرا من قبل قوات الجيش والدعم السريع على السواء، في عمليات الاستهداف، حيث عمدت قوات الدعم السريع إلى استهداف المواقع والأعيان المدنية في كردفان.
بينما واصل الجيش رصد واستهداف إمدادات الدعم السريع في كردفان ودارفور.
يذكر أن أكثر من 100 ألف شخص نزحوا من منطقة كردفان في غضون ثلاثة أشهر ونيف، بحسب الأمم المتحدة، في ظل ارتفاع وتيرة العنف بين الجيش وقوات الدعم السريع مع اقتراب الحرب من عامها الثالث.
واشتدت المعارك في كردفان بعد أن أحكمت قوات الدعم السريع قبضتها على إقليم دارفور المجاور في نهاية أكتوبر الماضي (2025).
Field sources reported that the Rapid Support Forces targeted several civilian sites in the city of Al-Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan State, through a drone attack in the early hours of this morning (Friday).
The shelling affected classrooms at Kordofan University for the second time in a week, and targeted the city's drug supply center and a house belonging to a citizen in the Riyadh Al-Salihين neighborhood.
Information indicated that no human casualties were recorded among civilians, while material damage occurred to the targeted buildings.
For its part, a military source announced that the army's ground defenses shot down about 11 suicide drones that were participating in the attack on the city of Al-Obeid.
The use of drones has recently escalated by both the army and the Rapid Support Forces in targeting operations, as the Rapid Support Forces aimed to target civilian sites and properties in Kordofan.
Meanwhile, the army continued to monitor and target the supplies of the Rapid Support Forces in Kordofan and Darfur.
It is worth mentioning that more than 100,000 people have been displaced from the Kordofan region in just over three months, according to the United Nations, amid rising violence between the army and the Rapid Support Forces as the war approaches its third year.
Fighting intensified in Kordofan after the Rapid Support Forces tightened their grip on the neighboring Darfur region at the end of last October (2025).
