أكد العاهل الأردني الملك عبدالله الثاني، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، أن بلاده لن تسمح بخرق أجوائها ولن تكون ساحة حرب، داعياً إلى الحوار والحلول السياسية لملف إيران كونها السبيل لتجنيب المنطقة مزيداً من التصعيد.
وأوضح العاهل الأردني، خلال لقائه أعضاء مجلس نقابة الصحفيين الأردنيين في قصر الحسينية، أن أمن المملكة وسلامة مواطنيها فوق كل اعتبار، وذلك خلال تطرقه للتطورات المرتبطة بإيران.
وفيما يتعلق بالقضية الفلسطينية، أكد العاهل الأردني مواصلة العمل مع الأشقاء والشركاء الدوليين لحماية حقوق الفلسطينيين ووقف الإجراءات الإسرائيلية التي تهدف لتغيير الوضع القائم في الضفة الغربية والقدس.
وشدد على ضرورة دعم جهود سورية في الحفاظ على أمنها واستقرارها وسيادة أراضيها.
في الوقت ذاته، أعلنت القوات المسلحة الأردنية نقل أكثر من 2000 شخص من القطاع، بينهم 635 طفلاً، بمهمة علاج إنسانية، منذ مارس العام الماضي وحتى اليوم، موضحة أن الجهود مستمرة، وأن 190 شخصاً منهم عادوا إلى قطاع غزة وحصلوا على تقارير طبية بذلك.
ووفقاً لوكالة الأنباء الأردنية (بترا)، فإن الجيش الأردني نفذ حتى الآن 25 رحلة إجلاء للأطفال.
The Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II confirmed today (Tuesday) that his country will not allow violations of its airspace and will not become a battlefield, calling for dialogue and political solutions regarding the Iran issue as a way to spare the region further escalation.
The Jordanian monarch explained during his meeting with members of the Jordanian Press Association at the Husseiniya Palace that the security of the kingdom and the safety of its citizens are above all considerations, while addressing developments related to Iran.
Regarding the Palestinian issue, the Jordanian monarch affirmed the continued efforts to work with brothers and international partners to protect the rights of Palestinians and to stop Israeli measures aimed at changing the status quo in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
He emphasized the necessity of supporting Syria's efforts to maintain its security, stability, and territorial sovereignty.
At the same time, the Jordanian Armed Forces announced the transfer of more than 2,000 people from the Gaza Strip, including 635 children, for humanitarian medical missions since March of last year until today, clarifying that efforts are ongoing and that 190 of them have returned to the Gaza Strip and received medical reports accordingly.
According to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), the Jordanian army has so far conducted 25 evacuation flights for children.
