وتأتي هذه الاتفاقية لترسم ملامح مرحلة جديدة من العمل المؤسسي المشترك، إذ نصت المذكرة على تقديم البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن الدعم الفني والاستشاري التخصصي في مجالات تأهيل وترميم وتشغيل الطرق، بالتنسيق الوثيق مع الجهات السعودية ذات العلاقة، بما يضمن نقل التجربة السعودية الرائدة في هندسة الطرق وصيانتها إلى اليمن.

وتركز المذكرة في بنودها على رفع قدرات الصندوق وكوادره البشرية، عبر برامج نوعية تهدف إلى تمكين الكفاءات اليمنية من أدوات الإدارة الحديثة للمشاريع، وتطبيق معايير الجودة في الصيانة، بما يكفل ديمومة هذه الشرايين الحيوية وتعظيم أثرها التنموي والخدمي على حياة المواطنين.

As part of the ongoing Saudi support for the recovery of Yemeni state institutions and the modernization of its infrastructure according to global standards; the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with the Roads Maintenance Fund, affiliated with the Yemeni Ministry of Public Works and Roads, aimed at establishing the foundations of sustainability in the transportation sector and developing vital road networks in the liberated governorates.
Technical and Advisory Support
This agreement comes to outline a new phase of joint institutional work, as the memorandum stipulates that the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen will provide specialized technical and advisory support in the fields of rehabilitation, restoration, and operation of roads, in close coordination with relevant Saudi entities, ensuring the transfer of the pioneering Saudi experience in road engineering and maintenance to Yemen.
