ضمن حزمة المبادرات التنموية التي تقودها المملكة العربية السعودية بدعم من البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن لتطوير القطاع الصحي في اليمن، شهدت محافظة شبوة تحركات ميدانية وإدارية متسارعة لضمان كفاءة الخدمات الطبية.
وتفقد نائب محافظ شبوة الأمين العام للمجلس المحلي عبدربه هشلة ناصر، ووكيـل وزارة الصحة لقطاع الطب العلاجي الدكتور شوقي الشرجبي، سير العمل في هيئة مستشفى شبوة العام بمدينة عتق، للوقوف على مستوى الخدمات المقدمة للمواطنين.
تثمين محلي للدور السعودي
وأعرب نائب محافظ شبوة «هشلة» ووكيل وزارة الصحة «الشرجبي» عن بالغ شكرهما وتقديرهما لخادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي عهده رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان على هذا الدعم السخي الذي يلامس احتياجات المواطن اليمني بشكل مباشر.
وأكد المسؤولون أن إسناد التشغيل لجهة متخصصة بدعم سعودي يمثل «نقلة نوعية» ستنهي معاناة الكثير من المرضى، مثمنين الدور الريادي للبرنامج السعودي في تحويل الخطط إلى واقع ملموس على الأرض.
طموحات مستقبلية
وفي ختام الجولة، استمع الوفد إلى تقرير فني حول الخطط التشغيلية للأقسام المتبقية المقرر افتتاحها قريباً، مع التأكيد على تذليل كافة الصعوبات لضمان استمرار المستشفى كصرح طبي رائد يخدم كافة أبناء محافظة شبوة والمناطق المجاورة.
As part of the developmental initiatives led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supported by the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen to enhance the health sector in Yemen, the Shabwa Governorate has witnessed rapid field and administrative movements to ensure the efficiency of medical services.
The Deputy Governor of Shabwa, Secretary-General of the Local Council, Abdrabah Hashlah Nasser, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for the Therapeutic Medicine Sector, Dr. Shawqi Al-Sharjabi, inspected the workflow at the Shabwa General Hospital in the city of Ataq to assess the level of services provided to citizens.
Local Appreciation for the Saudi Role
Deputy Governor Hashlah and Undersecretary Al-Sharjabi expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, for this generous support that directly addresses the needs of the Yemeni citizen.
The officials confirmed that assigning the operation to a specialized entity with Saudi support represents a "qualitative leap" that will alleviate the suffering of many patients, appreciating the pioneering role of the Saudi program in turning plans into tangible reality on the ground.
Future Aspirations
At the end of the tour, the delegation listened to a technical report on the operational plans for the remaining departments scheduled to open soon, with an emphasis on overcoming all difficulties to ensure the hospital continues as a leading medical institution serving all the people of Shabwa Governorate and the surrounding areas.
