دعت 8 دول عربية وإسلامية، إلى الالتزام الكامل بإنجاح المرحلة الثانية من خطة السلام التي طرحها الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب بشأن قطاع غزة.
وبحسب وزارة الخارجية التركية، أدان بيان مشترك صادر عن وزراء خارجية السعودية ومصر وتركيا وقطر وباكستان والأردن وإندونيسيا والإمارات، انتهاكات إسرائيل المتكررة لوقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزة.
وأكد أن الانتهاكات الإسرائيلية المتكررة تشكل تهديدا مباشرا للعملية السياسية، وتُعيق الجهود المبذولة لإيجاد بيئة ملائمة للانتقال إلى مرحلة أكثر استقرارا في قطاع غزة، على الصعيدين الأمني والإنساني.
وشدد على ضرورة الالتزام الكامل بإنجاح المرحلة الثانية من خطة السلام التي طرحها ترمب.
ودعا الوزراء جميع الأطراف إلى الوفاء الكامل بمسؤولياتها وممارسة أقصى درجات ضبط النفس خلال هذه الفترة الحرجة، بما يتماشى مع القانون الدولي وقرارات مجلس الأمن الدولي ذات الصلة ومبادرة السلام العربية.
وجدد البيان التأكيد على ضرورة الحفاظ على وقف إطلاق النار واستمراره من أجل تعزيز سلام عادل ودائم قائم على حق الشعب الفلسطيني في تقرير المصير وإقامة دولته، وتجنب أي أعمال من شأنها تقويض العملية الحالية، وتهيئة الظروف المواتية للمضي قدما في عملية التعافي وإعادة الإعمار المبكرة.
يذكر أنه في 10 أكتوبر الماضي، بدأ سريان وقف إطلاق النار في غزة، إلا أن إسرائيل واصلت خرقها للاتفاق وارتكبت مجازر بحق الشعب الفلسطيني في القطاع.
وأسفرت حرب الإبادة الإسرائيلية عن سقوط أكثر من 71 ألف قتيل وما يزيد على 171 ألف جريح من الفلسطينيين، ودمار واسع طال نحو 90% من البنى التحتية المدنية، بتكلفة إعادة إعمار قدرتها الأمم المتحدة بنحو 70 مليار دولار.
وكان ترمب أعلن عن تدشين مجلس السلام الخاص بقطاع غزة، ودعا عددا من قادة العالم وعشرات الدول إلى الانضمام إليه. وأعلنت ثماني دول عربية وإسلامية (قطر، السعودية، الإمارات، الأردن، مصر، تركيا، إندونيسيا، باكستان) انضمامها إلى مجلس السلام.
Eight Arab and Islamic countries have called for full commitment to the success of the second phase of the peace plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the Gaza Strip.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a joint statement issued by the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Qatar, Pakistan, Jordan, Indonesia, and the UAE condemned Israel's repeated violations of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The statement emphasized that the repeated Israeli violations pose a direct threat to the political process and hinder efforts to create a conducive environment for transitioning to a more stable phase in the Gaza Strip, both security-wise and humanitarian-wise.
It stressed the necessity of full commitment to the success of the second phase of the peace plan proposed by Trump.
The ministers called on all parties to fully fulfill their responsibilities and exercise the utmost restraint during this critical period, in accordance with international law, relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, and the Arab Peace Initiative.
The statement reiterated the importance of maintaining and continuing the ceasefire to promote a just and lasting peace based on the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and the establishment of their state, and to avoid any actions that could undermine the current process, while creating favorable conditions for advancing early recovery and reconstruction efforts.
It is noteworthy that on October 10, a ceasefire came into effect in Gaza; however, Israel continued to violate the agreement and committed atrocities against the Palestinian people in the region.
The Israeli genocide has resulted in more than 71,000 deaths and over 171,000 injuries among Palestinians, with widespread destruction affecting nearly 90% of civilian infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at around $70 billion.
Trump announced the establishment of a peace council for the Gaza Strip and invited several world leaders and dozens of countries to join it. Eight Arab and Islamic countries (Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Indonesia, Pakistan) announced their membership in the peace council.
