عقدت اللجنة الوطنية للتحقيق في ادعاءات انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان اليوم (الإثنين) بمدينة المكلا جلسة استماع علنية جماعية، استمعت خلالها إلى شهادات أكثر من 100 ضحية تعرضوا للاعتقال التعسفي والاختفاء القسري، في إطار تحقيقات اللجنة المتعلقة بالانتهاكات التي وقعت منذ العام 2016 في ساحل محافظة حضرموت.
ونظرت اللجنة خلال الجلسة في عدد من الممارسات غير القانونية التي استُخدمت بحق الضحايا، وما رافقها من انتهاكات جسيمة للحق في الحرية والأمان الشخصي، وحرية الرأي والتعبير، والاحتجاز خارج إطار القانون.

وشهدت جلسة الاستماع، التي أدارها أعضاء اللجنة القضاة حسين المشدلي، ومحمد طليان، وناصر العوذلي، وإشراق المقطري، سرداً تفصيلياً من قبل الضحايا لأنماط الانتهاكات التي تعرضوا لها داخل السجون الرسمية وغير الرسمية، والمرافق الحكومية التي كانت تسيطر عليها عصابات عيدروس الزبيدي المدعومة من الإمارات، والتي استُخدمت كمراكز احتجاز، وظروف الاعتقال غير القانونية، بما في ذلك وقوع حالات وفاة تحت التعذيب.

وأوضح ضحايا الاعتقال أنه جرى اقتيادهم من منازلهم أو مقرات أعمالهم أو من الطرقات العامة، ونقلهم إلى أماكن احتجاز سرية دون إبلاغ ذويهم أو تمكينهم من التواصل لفترات متفاوتة، قبل أن يتعرضوا لأشكال متعددة من العنف والتعذيب الجسدي، وسوء المعاملة، والأذى النفسي، ما أدى في العديد من الحالات إلى إعاقات دائمة، وتشوهات جسدية، واضطرابات وأمراض نفسية.

وقدم الضحايا شهادات بشأن عدد من زملائهم الذين توفوا نتيجة التعذيب، إلى جانب قوائم بأسماء المتهمين بارتكاب تلك الانتهاكات، وتفاصيل بأسماء ومواقع مراكز الاحتجاز، إضافة إلى تسليم أعضاء اللجنة تقارير طبية، ومقاطع فيديو، وصوراً توثق أوضاعهم الصحية عند الإفراج عنهم.
وأكد الضحايا، في ختام شهاداتهم، تمسكهم بمطالبهم في محاسبة المسؤولين عن هذه الانتهاكات، وجبر الضرر الفردي والجماعي، وردّ الاعتبار، وإنصاف جميع من تعرضوا لصنوف الإهانة والاعتداء على الكرامة الإنسانية.
The National Commission for Investigating Allegations of Human Rights Violations held a public collective hearing today (Monday) in the city of Mukalla, during which it listened to testimonies from more than 100 victims who were subjected to arbitrary detention and enforced disappearance, as part of the Commission's investigations into violations that have occurred since 2016 on the coast of Hadhramaut Governorate.
The Commission examined during the session a number of illegal practices used against the victims, along with severe violations of the right to liberty and personal security, freedom of opinion and expression, and detention outside the framework of the law.

The hearing, which was chaired by committee members Judges Hussein Al-Mashdali, Mohammed Talayan, Nasser Al-Awdhali, and Ishraq Al-Maqtari, witnessed a detailed account from the victims regarding the patterns of violations they faced inside both official and unofficial prisons, and government facilities controlled by the UAE-backed militias of Aidarus Al-Zubaidi, which were used as detention centers, and the illegal conditions of detention, including instances of death under torture.

The detainees explained that they were taken from their homes or workplaces or from public roads and transferred to secret detention locations without informing their families or allowing them to communicate for varying periods, before being subjected to various forms of violence and physical torture, mistreatment, and psychological harm, which in many cases led to permanent disabilities, physical deformities, and psychological disorders and illnesses.

The victims provided testimonies regarding several of their colleagues who died as a result of torture, along with lists of names of those accused of committing these violations, and details of the names and locations of the detention centers, in addition to handing over to the committee members medical reports, videos, and photos documenting their health conditions upon their release.
At the conclusion of their testimonies, the victims affirmed their insistence on their demands for accountability of those responsible for these violations, individual and collective reparations, restoration of dignity, and justice for all who have been subjected to various forms of humiliation and attacks on human dignity.
