قُتل 7 أشخاص على الأقل في انفجار استهدف فندقاً في كابول اليوم (الإثنين) ولم تُعرف بعد أسباب الانفجار أو من يقف وراءه.
وقال المتحدث باسم شرطة كابول خالد زدران: «وقع انفجار في فندق في إحدى ضواحي العاصمة، ما أسفر عن سقوط ضحايا»، موضحاً أن التحقيقات جارية لمعرفة الأسباب وسيتم الإعلان عن نتائجها لاحقاً.
بدوره، قال المتحدث باسم وزارة الداخلية عبد المتين قاني إن هناك قتلى وجرحى في الانفجار، وشوهدت أعمدة الدخان تتصاعد من موقع الحادثة، بينما هرعت فرق الإطفاء للمكان، ولم تعلن أية جهة مسؤوليتها عنه.
ووقع الانفجار في منطقة شهر نو التي يسكنها الكثير من الأجانب، وتعد من أكثر المناطق أماناً في كابول نظراً إلى أنها منطقة تحيط بها قوات أمنية مكثفة وتضم العديد من المطاعم ومستشفى.
وذكرت وكالة أنباء «شينخوا» الصينية الرسمية أن حارس أمن أفغانياً قُتل، وأُصيب مواطنان صينيان بجروح خطيرة.

Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran said, "An explosion occurred at a hotel in one of the suburbs of the capital, resulting in casualties," explaining that investigations are underway to determine the causes, and the results will be announced later.
For his part, Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Mateen Qani stated that there are dead and injured from the explosion, and columns of smoke were seen rising from the site of the incident, while firefighting teams rushed to the location, and no group has claimed responsibility for it.
The explosion occurred in the Shahr-e Naw area, which is home to many foreigners and is considered one of the safest areas in Kabul due to the heavy security forces surrounding it and the presence of many restaurants and a hospital.
The official Chinese news agency "Xinhua" reported that an Afghan security guard was killed, and two Chinese citizens were seriously injured.
