أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب الانتهاء من تشكيل مجلس السلام في قطاع غزة، مشيراً إلى أنه سيكشف عن أعضاء المجلس قريباً.
وكتب ترمب عبر منصة «تروث سوشيال»: «يشرفني أن أعلن عن تشكيل مجلس السلام. وسيتم الإعلان عن أعضاء المجلس قريباً، لكن يمكنني أن أقول بكل تأكيد إنه أعظم وأرقى مجلس جرى تشكيله على الإطلاق».
وسيرأس ترمب «مجلس السلام لغزة» الذي سيتولى بصورة مؤقتة إدارة القطاع واتخاذ القرارات المتعلقة بإعادة إعماره. وسيناقش المجلس، الذي يضم قادة عالميين، سبل نزع سلاح حركة حماس، وتشكيل حكومة تكنوقراط، وجذب الاستثمارات.
كما أوضح البيت الأبيض أن المجلس «سيضع الإطار ويتولى إدارة التمويل لإعادة تطوير غزة»، إلى جانب توفير الإشراف والرقابة المستمرين على حكومة مستقبلية في غزة تضم فلسطينيين مؤهلين وخبراء دوليين.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced the completion of the formation of the Peace Council for the Gaza Strip, indicating that he will reveal the members of the council soon.
Trump wrote on the "Truth Social" platform: "I am honored to announce the formation of the Peace Council. The members of the council will be announced soon, but I can say with certainty that it is the greatest and most prestigious council ever formed."
Trump will chair the "Peace Council for Gaza," which will temporarily manage the sector and make decisions related to its reconstruction. The council, which includes global leaders, will discuss ways to disarm Hamas, form a technocratic government, and attract investments.
The White House also clarified that the council "will set the framework and manage the funding for the redevelopment of Gaza," in addition to providing ongoing oversight and supervision of a future government in Gaza that includes qualified Palestinians and international experts.
