طالب الجيش السوري القوات الكردية بالانسحاب من المناطق التي تسيطر عليها شرق مدينة حلب باتجاه نهر الفرات، بعد يومين من إعلان القوات الحكومية سيطرتها على كامل المدينة.
منطقة عسكرية مغلقة
ودعا الجيش في بيان نشره التلفزيون الرسمي، المجاميع المسلحة بهذه المنطقة إلى الانسحاب إلى شرق الفرات، معلنا المنطقة الواقعة إلى الشرق من مدينة حلب وصولا إلى نهر الفرات «منطقة عسكرية مغلقة».
وكشف مصدر عسكري عن تعزيزات جديدة للجيش وصلت إلى دير حافر ومسكنة بريف حلب الشرقي، بعد استقدام قوات سورية الديمقراطية «قسد» لمجاميع مسلحة وفلول من النظام السابق، وفق ما نقلت وكالة سانا.
وأعلنت هيئة العمليات في الجيش، أمس (الاثنين)، رصد وصول المزيد من المسلحين إلى نقاط انتشار «قسد» في مسكنة ودير حافر.
وأضافت أن هذه التعزيزات الجديدة ضمت عدداً من مقاتلي تنظيم PKK، وفلول النظام السابق.
وأكدت أن استقدام «قسد» لمقاتلين تصعيد خطير، وأن أي تحرك عسكري ستقوم به هذه المجاميع سيقابل برد عنيف. وشددت هيئة العمليات على أن الجيش لن يقف مكتوف الأيدي تجاه هذا التصعيد.
نزوح عشرات الآلاف
في المقابل، نفت «قسد» وجود أية تحركات أو تحشيدات عسكرية لقواتها في محيط مسكنة ودير حافر. وزعمت في بيان أن تصريحات الجيش «مضللة»، ولا أساس لها من الصحة،. وأضافت أن التحركات الميدانية القائمة تعود إلى القوات الحكومية.
من جانبه، لفت الناطق باسم الأمم المتحدة ستيفان دوجاريك، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، إلى أن نحو 119 ألف شخص نزحوا منذ تجدد الأعمال العدائية في مدينة حلب في سورية. ولفت إلى أن مفوضية اللاجئين تعمل على تأمين المساعدات لكافة العائلات النازحة في الملاجئ والمجتمعات المضيفة.
وأضاف: حتى يوم أمس أبلغنا شركاءنا أن نحو 119 ألف شخص نزحوا منذ تجدد الأعمال العدائية في مدينة حلب. مفوضية شؤون اللاجئين وشركاء آخرون على الأرض يقدمون المساعدة للعائلات النازحة في الملاجئ المؤقتة والمجتمعات المضيفة. الدعم يشمل توزيع الأغطية والفرش والملابس الشتوية الضرورية.
وذكرت وكالة الأنباء السورية أن الجيش صد محاولتي تسلل لقوات سورية الديمقراطية «قسد» بريف الرقة الشمالي.
وشهدت مدينة حلب خصوصا أحياء الشيخ مقصود والأشرفية وبني زيد ذات الغالبية الكردية منذ الثلاثاء الماضي اشتباكات عنيفة بين الجيش و«قسد»، أدت إلى نزوح أكثر من 140 ألفاً، ومقتل نحو 23 شخصاً.
The Syrian army has demanded that Kurdish forces withdraw from the areas they control east of the city of Aleppo towards the Euphrates River, two days after the government forces announced their control over the entire city.
Closed Military Zone
The army, in a statement published by the official television, called on the armed groups in this area to withdraw to the east of the Euphrates, declaring the area located east of the city of Aleppo up to the Euphrates River a "closed military zone."
A military source revealed that new reinforcements for the army had arrived in Deir Hafer and Maskanah in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, after the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) brought in armed groups and remnants of the former regime, according to what was reported by the SANA news agency.
The army's operations authority announced yesterday (Monday) that it had observed the arrival of more militants to the SDF's deployment points in Maskanah and Deir Hafer.
It added that these new reinforcements included a number of fighters from the PKK organization and remnants of the former regime.
It confirmed that the SDF's recruitment of fighters is a dangerous escalation, and that any military movement by these groups will be met with a violent response. The operations authority emphasized that the army will not stand idly by in the face of this escalation.
Displacement of Tens of Thousands
In contrast, the SDF denied the existence of any military movements or mobilizations of its forces around Maskanah and Deir Hafer. It claimed in a statement that the army's statements are "misleading" and have no basis in fact. It added that the ongoing field movements are attributed to government forces.
For his part, UN spokesman Stefan Dujarric pointed out today (Tuesday) that about 119,000 people have been displaced since hostilities resumed in the city of Aleppo in Syria. He noted that the Refugee Agency is working to secure assistance for all displaced families in shelters and host communities.
He added: Until yesterday, our partners informed us that about 119,000 people have been displaced since hostilities resumed in the city of Aleppo. The Refugee Agency and other partners on the ground are providing assistance to displaced families in temporary shelters and host communities. The support includes the distribution of blankets, mattresses, and necessary winter clothing.
The Syrian news agency reported that the army thwarted two infiltration attempts by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the northern Raqqa countryside.
The city of Aleppo, especially the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zayd, which have a Kurdish majority, has witnessed intense clashes between the army and the SDF since last Tuesday, leading to the displacement of more than 140,000 people and the deaths of about 23 individuals.
