رحّبت سلطنةُ عُمان اليوم (الأحد) بالدعوة السعودية لحوار بين كافة المكونات الجنوبية اليمنية.
وقال بيان صادر عن وزارة الخارجية العمانية اليوم: نرحّب بالدعوة إلى حوار بين كافة المكونات الجنوبية في الجمهورية اليمنية، وباستضافة الأشقّاء في المملكة العربية السعودية، وبما يُسهم في تحقيق التوافق المنشود في سياق الحل السياسي الشامل تلاقياً مع التطلّعات المشروعة للشعب اليمني.
وكانت السعودية قد رحبت بطلب رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني الدكتور رشاد العليمي، المتضمّن عقد مؤتمر شامل في مدينة الرياض، يجمع مختلف المكونات الجنوبية للجلوس على طاولة الحوار، وبحث الحلول العادلة للقضية الجنوبية.
ودعت المملكة جميع المكونات الجنوبية إلى المشاركة الفاعلة في المؤتمر، بهدف بلورة تصور شامل للحلول العادلة للقضية الجنوبية، وبما يلبّي تطلعات الجنوبيين المشروعة، وذلك انطلاقاً من المضامين الواردة في بيان وزارة الخارجية في أواخر ديسمبر، الذي أكّد أن القضية الجنوبية قضية عادلة ذات أبعاد تاريخية واجتماعية، وأن السبيل الوحيد لمعالجتها يكمن في الحوار ضمن إطار الحل السياسي الشامل في اليمن.
ويأتي ذلك امتداداً للعلاقات الوثيقة بين البلدين الشقيقين، وما تقتضيه المصالح المشتركة في ظل الظروف الراهنة، واستمراراً لجهود المملكة في دعم وتعزيز أمن الجمهورية اليمنية واستقرارها، وتوفير الأجواء المناسبة للحوار.
Oman welcomed today (Sunday) the Saudi invitation for dialogue among all southern Yemeni components.
A statement issued by the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs today said: We welcome the invitation for dialogue among all southern components in the Republic of Yemen, and the hosting by our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in a way that contributes to achieving the desired consensus within the context of a comprehensive political solution that aligns with the legitimate aspirations of the Yemeni people.
Saudi Arabia had welcomed the request from the President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, which included holding a comprehensive conference in Riyadh that brings together various southern components to sit at the dialogue table and discuss fair solutions to the southern issue.
The Kingdom called on all southern components to actively participate in the conference, with the aim of formulating a comprehensive vision for fair solutions to the southern issue, in a way that meets the legitimate aspirations of the southerners, based on the contents of the statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in late December, which affirmed that the southern issue is a just cause with historical and social dimensions, and that the only way to address it lies in dialogue within the framework of a comprehensive political solution in Yemen.
This comes as an extension of the close relations between the two brotherly countries, and what is required by mutual interests in light of the current circumstances, and as a continuation of the Kingdom's efforts to support and enhance the security and stability of the Republic of Yemen, and to provide the appropriate atmosphere for dialogue.
