انتقل إلى رحمة الله الأديب المؤرخ محمد صالح البليهشي، والد أمين منطقة المدينة المنورة المهندس فهد البليهشي، عن عمر ناهز 83 عاماً، بعد رحلة طويلة في مجال الأدب والتاريخ.
ولد الراحل في قرية المضيق بمحافظة وادي الفرع عام 1365هـ، ونشأ وتلقى تعليمه حتى حصل على درجة الليسانس من كلية الشريعة بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية، وعمل في قطاع التعليم مدرساً ثم مديراً لعدد من المدارس الابتدائية والمتوسطة والثانوية. ويعد البليهشي من أبرز الأسماء التي وثقت التاريخ، لا سيما تاريخ المدينة المنورة، وصدر له العديد من المؤلفات عن تاريخها، إذ ترك عدداً من المؤلفات التي تُعد مراجع مهمة في تاريخ المدينة المنورة وأدبها، من أبرزها كتاب المدينة المنورة في عهد الملك عبدالعزيز آل سعود (1344-1373هـ)، إلى جانب مجموعة قصصية بعنوان «حروف من الرماد»، وكتاب «المدينة اليوم» الذي رصد تطور المدينة المنورة في مختلف المجالات، إضافة إلى كتاب «لمحات من حياة الربيع»، وكتاب «مسيرة ثمانية أعوام» الذي وثق إنجازات نادي المدينة الأدبي، وكتاب «المدينة المنورة» ضمن سلسلة «هذه بلادنا».
وقد أديت الصلاة على الفقيد بعد ظهر اليوم بالمسجد النبوي، ودفن ببقيع الغرقد.
The literary historian Mohammed Saleh Al-Buleishi has passed away, may God have mercy on him, at the age of 83, after a long journey in the field of literature and history. He was the father of the Secretary of the Medina Region, Engineer Fahd Al-Buleishi.
The deceased was born in the village of Al-Mudhiq in the Wadi Al-Far'a governorate in the year 1365 AH. He grew up and received his education until he obtained a bachelor's degree from the College of Sharia at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University. He worked in the education sector as a teacher and then as the principal of several elementary, intermediate, and secondary schools. Al-Buleishi is considered one of the most prominent figures who documented history, especially the history of Medina. He published many works about its history, leaving behind a number of publications that are regarded as important references in the history and literature of Medina. Among his notable works are the book "Medina during the Reign of King Abdulaziz Al Saud" (1344-1373 AH), along with a collection of stories titled "Letters from Ashes," and the book "Medina Today," which documented the development of Medina in various fields, in addition to the book "Glimpses from the Life of Spring," and the book "The Journey of Eight Years," which documented the achievements of the Medina Literary Club, as well as the book "Medina" in the series "This is Our Country."
The funeral prayer for the deceased was performed this afternoon at the Prophet's Mosque, and he was buried in Baqi' Al-Gharqad.
