كرم رئيس مركز البرزة منصور بن ماجد بن شويل أعضاء المركز الوطني للوقاية من الآفات النباتية والأمراض الحيوانية ومكافحتها (وقاء)، وذلك نظير تنظيمهم ورشة عمل توعوية بمركز البرزة صباح اليوم حول أعراض الإصابة بآفة سوسة النخيل الحمراء والإجراءات الوقائية للحد منها.
وتأتي الورشة ضمن جهود مركز وقاء في رفع مستوى الوعي لدى المزارعين والمهتمين بأهمية الاكتشاف المبكر واتباع الأساليب العلمية في الوقاية والمكافحة حفاظا على النخيل وتعزيزا لاستدامة الإنتاج الزراعي.
وأكد ابن شويل أهمية هذه الورش الميدانية، مشيدا بدور مركز وقاء في حماية الثروة النباتية ودعم الأمن الغذائي.
The President of Al-Barzah Center, Mansour bin Majid bin Shuwail, honored the members of the National Center for the Prevention of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases and their Control (Waqaa), in recognition of their organization of an awareness workshop at Al-Barzah Center this morning regarding the symptoms of infestation by the red palm weevil and the preventive measures to limit it.
The workshop is part of Waqaa's efforts to raise awareness among farmers and stakeholders about the importance of early detection and following scientific methods in prevention and control to protect palm trees and enhance the sustainability of agricultural production.
Bin Shuwail emphasized the importance of these field workshops, praising the role of Waqaa in protecting plant wealth and supporting food security.
