صدر قرار وزير التعليم بإيفاد الدكتور سامي بن غازي العتيبي مشرفا عاما على البعثة التعليمية في مملكة البحرين، اعتبارا من 27 ربيع الآخر 1447هـ، وذلك بعد مسيرة حافلة بالعطاء قاد خلالها إدارة التعليم بالمنطقة الشرقية نحو مزيد من التطوير والإنجاز.
وكان الدكتور العتيبي قد تسلم مهمات إدارة تعليم الشرقية في يناير 2021م، ليواصل العمل لنحو أربع سنوات تميزت بتحقيق قفزات نوعية في الأداء التعليمي والإداري، إذ شهدت المنطقة في عهده توسعا في برامج التطوير المهني، ورفعا لمؤشرات التحصيل الدراسي، إلى جانب مبادرات تعليمة رائدة، وتوسيع الشراكات المجتمعية الداعمة لمسيرة التعليم، وتدشين عدد من المشاريع التعليمية.
كما حرصت إدارته على مواءمة خطط التعليم مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030، من خلال تعزيز التحول الرقمي وتبني المشاريع الابتكارية، فضلا عن تحقيق حضور بارز لإدارة تعليم الشرقية في الجوائز الوطنية والمحافل التعليمية المختلفة محليا ودوليا.
ويعدّ هذا الإيفاد تقديرا لما قدّمه الدكتور العتيبي من جهود بارزة، وإشادة بمسيرته القيادية التي تركت أثرا ملموسا في تطوير البيئة التعليمية في المنطقة الشرقية، ليواصل عطاءه في مهمة جديدة تسهم في دعم التعليم السعودي خارج الوطن.
نبارك للدكتور سامي العتيبي هذا التكليف، ودعوات صادقة بأن يوفقه الله في مهمته القادمة، وأن تبقى إنجازاته في الشرقية علامة فارقة في سجل التعليم السعودي.
The Minister of Education has issued a decision to appoint Dr. Sami bin Ghazi Al-Otaibi as the General Supervisor of the Educational Mission in the Kingdom of Bahrain, effective from the 27th of Rabi' Al-Thani, 1447 AH, following a distinguished career during which he led the Eastern Province's education administration towards further development and achievement.
Dr. Al-Otaibi took over the management of Eastern Province Education in January 2021, continuing to work for nearly four years characterized by significant leaps in educational and administrative performance. During his tenure, the region witnessed an expansion in professional development programs, an increase in academic achievement indicators, in addition to pioneering educational initiatives, the expansion of community partnerships supporting the educational journey, and the launch of several educational projects.
His administration also ensured the alignment of educational plans with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, by enhancing digital transformation and adopting innovative projects, as well as achieving a prominent presence for Eastern Province Education in national awards and various educational forums both locally and internationally.
This appointment is a recognition of Dr. Al-Otaibi's outstanding efforts and an acknowledgment of his leadership journey, which has left a tangible impact on the development of the educational environment in the Eastern Province, allowing him to continue his contributions in a new role that supports Saudi education abroad.
