أعلن المتحدث باسم الخارجية الإيرانية إسماعيل بقائي أن طهران لم تتلق أي رسائل من واشنطن بشأن بدء مفاوضات نووية جديدة، معتبرا أن تبادل الوسطاء رسائل لتقريب وجهات النظر، لا يعني بدء عملية تفاوض بين طهران وواشنطن.
وكانت المتحدثة باسم الحكومة الإيرانية فاطمة مهاجراني أعلنت أن طهران تلقت دعوات لاستئناف المحادثات النووية. وقالت في تصريحات صحفية، أمس (الأحد)، إن وزارة الخارجية تلقت رسائل لاستئناف المفاوضات، لكنها لم تكشف ما إذا كانت هذه الرسائل من واشنطن أم من الوسطاء، واكتفت بالقول إنها ستقدم توضيحاً حول فحوى هذه الرسائل وطبيعتها في الوقت المناسب.
تحركات الوسطاء طبيعية
وقال بقائي في مؤتمر صحفي، اليوم(الإثنين)، إن تحركات الوسطاء بخصوص الملف النووي الإيراني «طبيعية»، إلا أنه لا توجد أي مفاوضات جديدة. وأضاف أن الأمور المرتبطة بالتفاوض واضحة، ويجب على الطرف المقابل احترام حقوقنا.
وكان وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي، أعلن في أكتوبر الماضي، أن بلاده مستعدة للتفاوض من أجل إثبات أن برنامجها النووي سلمي تماماً، لافتا إلى أنها مستعدة لأي حل عادل لقضية البرنامج النووي، لكنها لن تتنازل عن حقوقها.
واعتبر أن قنبلة إيران النووية هي القدرة على قول كلمة لا أمام القوى العظمى، وفق تعبيره، مجدداً التأكيد على الحق في تخصيب اليورانيوم.
ورداً على سؤال بشأن تصريح مدير الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية رافاييل غروسي، قبل أيام قليلة بأن إيران «لم تكن ولا تسعى لامتلاك قنبلة ذرية، أو تُخصّب اليورانيوم»، وقال بقائي: «لقد صرّح المدير العام بما هو بديهي. ينبغي على الوكالة الامتناع عن الإدلاء بتصريحات تُمثّل نوعاً من تكرار الادعاءات والتكهنات الفارغة».
تحركات قرب مواقع نووية
وأفاد غروسي نهاية الشهر الماضي، بأن إيران لا تقوم حالياً بتخصيب اليورانيوم بشكل نشط، غير أن الوكالة رصدت تحركات قرب مواقع تخزين مواد نووية داخل البلاد. ونقلت شبكة «CNN» عن مصادر استخباراتية أوروبية أن طهران تسرع في إعادة بناء برنامجها للصواريخ الباليستية، رغم إعادة فرض العقوبات الأممية، في سبتمبر.
وقال غروسي إنه على الرغم من عدم تمكّن المفتشين من الوصول إلى المواقع النووية الإيرانية، إلا أن الوكالة لم ترصد عبر صور الأقمار الاصطناعية أي مؤشرات على تسريع إيران إنتاجها من اليورانيوم المخصب بما يتجاوز المستويات التي كانت لديها قبل الحرب التي استمرت 12 يوماً مع إسرائيل في يونيو.
The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baqaei, announced that Tehran has not received any messages from Washington regarding the start of new nuclear negotiations, considering that the exchange of messages by intermediaries to bridge viewpoints does not mean the beginning of a negotiation process between Tehran and Washington.
The Iranian government spokesperson, Fatemeh Mohajerani, announced that Tehran has received invitations to resume nuclear talks. She stated in press remarks yesterday (Sunday) that the Foreign Ministry received messages to resume negotiations, but she did not disclose whether these messages were from Washington or from intermediaries, merely stating that she would provide clarification regarding the content and nature of these messages in due time.
Intermediary Movements are Normal
Baqaei said in a press conference today (Monday) that the movements of intermediaries regarding the Iranian nuclear file are "normal," but there are no new negotiations. He added that the matters related to negotiations are clear, and the other party must respect our rights.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced last October that his country is ready to negotiate to prove that its nuclear program is entirely peaceful, noting that it is prepared for any fair solution regarding the nuclear program, but it will not concede its rights.
He considered that Iran's nuclear bomb is the ability to say no to the great powers, as he put it, reiterating the right to enrich uranium.
In response to a question regarding the statement made by the Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, a few days ago that Iran "has not been and is not seeking to possess a nuclear bomb, nor is it enriching uranium," Baqaei said: "The director general has stated what is self-evident. The agency should refrain from making statements that represent a kind of repetition of empty claims and speculations."
Movements Near Nuclear Sites
Grossi reported at the end of last month that Iran is not currently actively enriching uranium, but the agency has observed movements near sites storing nuclear materials within the country. CNN reported from European intelligence sources that Tehran is accelerating the rebuilding of its ballistic missile program, despite the re-imposition of UN sanctions in September.
Grossi stated that although inspectors have not been able to access Iranian nuclear sites, the agency has not detected through satellite images any indications of Iran accelerating its production of enriched uranium beyond the levels it had before the 12-day war with Israel in June.
