كشفت المتحدثة باسم الحكومة الإيرانية فاطمة مهاجراني، أن طهران تلقت دعوات لاستئناف المحادثات النووية. وقالت مهاجراني في تصريحات صحفية، اليوم (الأحد)، إن وزارة الخارجية تلقت رسائل لاستئناف المفاوضات. وفيما لم تكشف عما إذا كانت هذه الرسائل من واشنطن أم من الوسطاء، اكتفت بالقول إنها ستقدم توضيحاً حول فحوى هذه الرسائل وطبيعتها في الوقت المناسب.
وكان وزير الخارجية العُماني بدر البوسعيدي، أعلن خلال جلسة نقاش ضمن فعاليات مؤتمر حوار المنامة السنوي الذي ينظمه المعهد الدولي للدراسات الاستراتيجية في البحرين، أمس السبت، أن بلاده «ترغب في رؤية استئناف المفاوضات بين إيران والولايات المتحدة».
وذكر أن عُمان استضافت خمس جولات من المحادثات بين واشنطن وطهران هذا العام، لافتاً إلى أنه قبل ثلاثة أيام فقط من الجولة السادسة، التي كان يمكن أن تكون حاسمة، أطلقت إسرائيل قنابلها وصواريخها في عمل تخريبي غير قانوني وفتاك.
وقبل أيام عدة، أكد وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي، أن إدارة العلاقات مع واشنطن ما زالت ممكنة، معرباً عن استعداد بلاده للتفاوض وبناء الثقة لإزالة المخاوف من البرنامج النووي.
وزار كبير المفاوضين الإيرانيين نائب وزير الخارجية للشؤون السياسية مجيد تخت روانجي، مسقط يوم الجمعة الماضي، والتقى عدداً من المسؤولين العُمانيين، ما أثار حينها تكهنات حول إمكانية عودة عمان على خط الوساطة بين الجانب الإيراني والأمريكي ونقل رسائل بينهما.
The spokesperson for the Iranian government, Fatemeh Mohajerani, revealed that Tehran has received invitations to resume nuclear talks. Mohajerani stated in press remarks today (Sunday) that the Foreign Ministry has received messages to resume negotiations. While she did not disclose whether these messages were from Washington or from intermediaries, she merely said that she would provide clarification regarding the content and nature of these messages in due time.
Oman's Foreign Minister, Badr al-Busaidi, announced during a discussion session at the annual Manama Dialogue organized by the International Institute for Strategic Studies in Bahrain on Saturday that his country "wants to see the resumption of negotiations between Iran and the United States."
He mentioned that Oman hosted five rounds of talks between Washington and Tehran this year, noting that just three days before the sixth round, which could have been decisive, Israel launched its bombs and missiles in an illegal and deadly act of sabotage.
A few days ago, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that managing relations with Washington is still possible, expressing his country's readiness to negotiate and build trust to alleviate concerns about the nuclear program.
The chief Iranian negotiator, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi, visited Muscat last Friday and met with several Omani officials, which raised speculations at the time about the possibility of Oman returning to the mediation line between the Iranian and American sides and conveying messages between them.
