اتهم رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو حماس بانتهاك اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزة، متوعداً بالرد. وقال في بيان، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، إن حماس سلمت بقايا «جثة رهينة تم بالفعل العثور على رفاته من قبل الجيش الإسرائيلي» سابقاً. وأضاف أنه سيبحث مع المؤسسة الأمنية رد الحكومة على «انتهاكات» حماس، وفق تعبيره.
وجدد منتدى عائلات الرهائن الإسرائيليين دعوته إلى التحرك بحسم ضد حماس، للمرة الأولى منذ تفجر الحرب في الـ7 من أكتوبر 2023، إذ طالما وجه سهام انتقاداته إلى الحكومة الإسرائيلية.
وكان مكتب نتنياهو، أوضح أنه بعد استكمال إجراءات التعرف على الجثة التي سلمتها حماس، مساء الإثنين، تبيّن أن الرفات تعود إلى الجندي الأسير أوفير تسرفاتي الذي أُعيد من قطاع غزة في عملية عسكرية قبل نحو عامين، وتم إبلاغ عائلته بذلك. واعتبر المكتب أن هذا التصرف «يعد انتهاكاً واضحاً للاتفاق من قبل حماس».
ويعقد نتنياهو مساء اليوم اجتماعاً مع قادة الأجهزة الأمنية لبحث خطوات الرد على «تلك الخروقات» وفق ما وصفها مكتبه.
مع استمرار عمليات البحث عن جثث الأسرى الإسرائيليين، أوقفت إسرائيل السماح بدخول عناصر حماس داخل الخط الأصفر للبحث عن رفات الرهائن.
ونقلت هيئة البث الإسرائيلية، عن مصادر مطلعة تأكيدها أن خطوات أخرى، ستتبع هذا القرار، على أن يعلن عنها عند انتهاء جلسة المجلس الوزاري المصغر للشؤون الأمنية والسياسية.
وأعلنت إسرائيل، مساء أمس، تسلّم رفات أسير جديد عبر طواقم الصليب الأحمر. وبذلك، تكون حماس أفرجت منذ بدء الاتفاق عن 20 أسيراً إسرائيليا حياً، ورفات 17 أسيراً من أصل 28، أغلبهم إسرائيليون، لكن مع إعلان تل أبيب أن الجثة الأخيرة قديمة، وتأكيدها سابقاً أيضاً إحدى الجثث المستلمة لا تتطابق مع أي من أسراها، أصبح عدد الجثث المسلمة 15، وتتبقى 13 جثة.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Hamas of violating the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, vowing to respond. In a statement today (Tuesday), he said that Hamas delivered the remains of "a hostage whose remains had already been found by the Israeli army" previously. He added that he would discuss with the security establishment the government's response to Hamas's "violations," as he put it.
The Israeli Hostage Families Forum renewed its call for decisive action against Hamas, for the first time since the outbreak of the war on October 7, 2023, as it has long directed its criticisms at the Israeli government.
Netanyahu's office clarified that after completing the identification procedures for the body delivered by Hamas on Monday evening, it was found that the remains belong to the captured soldier Ofer Tsarfati, who was returned from the Gaza Strip in a military operation about two years ago, and his family has been informed. The office considered this act "a clear violation of the agreement by Hamas."
Netanyahu is holding a meeting this evening with security leaders to discuss steps in response to "those violations," according to his office.
As the search for the bodies of Israeli hostages continues, Israel has stopped allowing Hamas members to enter the yellow line to search for the remains of the hostages.
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported, citing informed sources, that other steps will follow this decision, which will be announced at the conclusion of the mini-cabinet meeting on security and political affairs.
Israel announced last night the receipt of the remains of a new captive through Red Cross teams. Thus, Hamas has released 20 living Israeli captives and the remains of 17 captives out of 28 since the start of the agreement, most of whom are Israelis. However, with Tel Aviv announcing that the last body is old, and confirming previously that one of the received bodies does not match any of its captives, the number of delivered bodies has become 15, leaving 13 bodies remaining.
