دعت قيادة وزارة الدفاع، ورئاسة هيئة الأركان العامة اليمنية، اليوم (الثلاثاء) عناصر الحوثي والمغرر بهم لترك أسلحتهم وعدم التورط في الجرائم والانتهاكات التي ترتكبها الجماعة ضد الشعب اليمني، خلال استقبالها القيادي الحوثي المنشق قائد ما يسمى «اللواء العاشر صماد» العميد صلاح الصلاحي.
وأكد المتحدث باسم الجيش اليمني العميد الركن عبده عبدالله مجلي، في مؤتمر صحفي بمحافظة مأرب، أن أبواب الحكومة مفتوحة لكل من يعود الى جادة الصواب، ويترك الحوثي، وينأى بنفسه عن الأعمال الإجرامية والانتهاكات الجسيمة ضد أبناء الشعب اليمني.
من جانبه، دعا العميد الصلاحي جميع عناصر الحوثي للرجوع إلى حضن الوطن والجمهورية، وترك القتال وعدم توريط أنفسهم في جرائم الحوثي الذي يرمي بأبناء اليمن إلى المحارق، مؤكداً أن الحوثي يرتكب أبشع الجرائم بحق أهاليهم ومناطقهم ويسعى لتفخيخ الأجيال ونشر الأفكار المسمومة.
واستعرض الصلاحي الممارسات العنصرية والتمييزية الحوثية التي تعتبر اليمنيين ذخائر موت في حروبها، موضحاً أن الحوثي لا يثق بمن يعمل معه مهما بذل من جهد ومهما قدم من الطاعة والولاء. وقال القيادي الحوثي المنشق: على الجميع إدراك ما يقوم به الحوثي من أعمال تخريبية وقتل للنساء والأطفال والسعي لتمزيق المجتمع وزراعة الثارات، وما تحمله من حقد وانتقام ضد جميع اليمنيين.
يذكر أن قيادياً آخر انشق الأسبوع الماضي عن الحوثيين من جبهة مقبنة بمحافظة تعز وكان يقود الجيش الشعبي الحوثي، ومن المتوقع أن يعلن رسمياً عنه خلال الأيام القادمة.
The leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces called today (Tuesday) on the Houthi elements and those misled to lay down their weapons and refrain from getting involved in the crimes and violations committed by the group against the Yemeni people, during their reception of the defected Houthi leader, the commander of the so-called "10th Brigade Samad," Brigadier General Salah Al-Salahi.
The spokesman for the Yemeni army, Brigadier General Abdu Abdullah Majali, confirmed in a press conference in Marib Governorate that the doors of the government are open to anyone who returns to the right path, leaves the Houthis, and distances themselves from the criminal acts and serious violations against the Yemeni people.
For his part, Brigadier General Al-Salahi called on all Houthi elements to return to the embrace of the homeland and the republic, to stop fighting, and to avoid involving themselves in the crimes of the Houthis, which throw the children of Yemen into the fires. He emphasized that the Houthis commit the most heinous crimes against their families and their regions and seek to poison generations and spread toxic ideas.
Al-Salahi reviewed the racist and discriminatory practices of the Houthis, who consider Yemenis as ammunition in their wars, explaining that the Houthis do not trust those who work with them, no matter how much effort they exert or how much obedience and loyalty they show. The defected Houthi leader stated: Everyone should realize what the Houthis are doing in terms of destructive actions, killing women and children, and seeking to tear apart society and sow vendettas, along with the hatred and revenge they harbor against all Yemenis.
It is worth mentioning that another leader defected from the Houthis last week from the Maqbana front in Taiz Governorate, who was leading the Houthi popular army, and it is expected that an official announcement will be made about him in the coming days.
