كشف وزير الخارجية المصري الدكتور بدر عبد العاطي تحركات مصرية سعودية كبيرة من خلال الآلية الرباعية لوقف الحرب في السودان في أسرع وقت ممكن، بالتنسيق مع الولايات المتحدة والإمارات.
وأكد عبد العاطي خلال مؤتمر صحفي مع وزير خارجية المالديف عبد الله خليل، اليوم (السبت)، أن مصر معنية في المقام الأول بالسودان، وتعمل على سرعة التوصل إلى هدنة إنسانية لوقف إطلاق النار، لافتاً إلى دعم مصر الكامل للدولة السودانية والمؤسسة العسكرية.
وأعرب عن أمله أن يكون هناك تفاهم بين جميع الأطراف لإنهاء العدوان على الفاشر، ووقف تدفق أي سلاح من الخارج للبدء في العملية السياسية. وأضاف أن القاهرة تتابع باهتمام بالغ كل ما يتعلق بتحقيق الأمن والاستقرار هناك وفي المنطقة.
تفاوض حول المرحلة الثانية
وبشأن التطورات في قطاع غزة، قال عبد العاطي إنه وبعد النجاح في وقف الحرب يجب بدء التفاوض الفوري للمرحلة الثانية من اتفاق شرم الشيخ، لافتاً إلى أن هناك نحو 50 ألف فلسطيني يعانون من إصابات بالغة ويحتاجون إلى عيادات طبية متنقلة لتقديم العلاج، كما يجب التركيز على توفير ملاذ آمن للفلسطينيين، خصوصاً ونحن على أعتاب الشتاء، إضافة إلى تقديم الخدمات الأساسية.
وأعلن أنه يجري التنسيق حالياً لسرعة تنظيم المؤتمر الدولي لإعادة الإعمار الذي سيُعقد في نوفمبر القادم، مؤكداً أن هناك العديد من الدول طلبت أن تكون مشاركة وراعية لمؤتمر الإعمار.
تحديث خطة إعادة إعمار غزة
وأفصح وزير الخارجية المصري عن تحديث خطة إعادة الإعمار بالتنسيق مع الحكومة الفلسطينية، حيث جرى الانتهاء من تقييم الخسائر، موضحاً أن الأولوية ستكون في عملية إعادة الإعمار لإزالة المتفجرات والركام لإدخال المساعدات.
وأجرى عبد العاطي اتصالاً هاتفياً أمس (الجمعة) مع رئيس الوزراء الفلسطيني الدكتور محمد مصطفى، لمناقشة التحضيرات الجارية لمؤتمر التعافي المبكر وإعادة الإعمار والتنمية في غزة، المقرر عقده في القاهرة خلال شهر نوفمبر.
وتناول الجانبان التفاصيل الخاصة بالأهداف والمخرجات المتوقعة من المؤتمر، لاسيما ما يتعلق بالتمويل والتعهدات المالية، إضافة إلى تقييم وتحديث حجم الدمار في قطاع غزة.
وأعرب وزير الخارجية المصري عن تطلعه للمشاركة الفاعلة من كافة أطراف المجتمع الدولي في المؤتمر، الذي ستقوم مصر بتنظيمه في إطار الخطة العربية الإسلامية التي سبق إقرارها من قبل الدول العربية والإسلامية وعدد كبير من أعضاء المجتمع الدولي، إضافة إلى التنسيق الجاري حول تنفيذ خطة الرئيس دونالد ترمب للسلام في ما يتعلق بإعادة تنمية قطاع غزة.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdel Aati revealed significant Egyptian-Saudi movements through the quadripartite mechanism to stop the war in Sudan as soon as possible, in coordination with the United States and the UAE.
Abdel Aati confirmed during a press conference with Maldives Foreign Minister Abdullah Khaleel today (Saturday) that Egypt is primarily concerned with Sudan and is working to quickly reach a humanitarian ceasefire to stop the fighting, noting Egypt's full support for the Sudanese state and the military institution.
He expressed hope for an understanding among all parties to end the aggression in Al-Fasher and to halt the flow of any weapons from abroad to initiate the political process. He added that Cairo is closely monitoring everything related to achieving security and stability there and in the region.
Negotiations on the Second Phase
Regarding developments in the Gaza Strip, Abdel Aati stated that after successfully stopping the war, immediate negotiations should begin for the second phase of the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement, noting that there are about 50,000 Palestinians suffering from severe injuries who need mobile medical clinics for treatment, and there should be a focus on providing a safe haven for Palestinians, especially as we approach winter, in addition to providing basic services.
He announced that coordination is currently underway to quickly organize the international reconstruction conference that will be held next November, confirming that many countries have requested to participate and sponsor the reconstruction conference.
Updating the Gaza Reconstruction Plan
The Egyptian Foreign Minister disclosed the update of the reconstruction plan in coordination with the Palestinian government, stating that the assessment of losses has been completed, clarifying that the priority will be in the reconstruction process to remove explosives and rubble to facilitate the entry of aid.
Abdel Aati made a phone call yesterday (Friday) with Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Mohammed Mustafa to discuss the ongoing preparations for the early recovery, reconstruction, and development conference in Gaza, scheduled to be held in Cairo during November.
The two sides addressed the details related to the objectives and expected outcomes of the conference, particularly regarding financing and financial commitments, in addition to assessing and updating the extent of the destruction in the Gaza Strip.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister expressed his hope for active participation from all parties of the international community in the conference, which Egypt will organize within the framework of the Arab-Islamic plan previously approved by Arab and Islamic countries and a large number of members of the international community, in addition to the ongoing coordination regarding the implementation of President Donald Trump's peace plan concerning the redevelopment of the Gaza Strip.
