قتل 4 من أفراد الجيش السوري وأصيب 9 آخرون اليوم (الخميس) في انفجار عبوة ناسفة في حافلة كانت تقلهم في دير الزور شرق البلاد.
وذكر «تلفزيون سورية» أن القتلى كانوا يعملون حراسا لمنشأة نفطية وتعرضت حافلة تقلهم لعبوة ناسفة قرب بلدة سعلو شرقي دير الزور.
من جهتها قالت وكالة الأنباء السورية «سانا» في تغريدات على حسابها في «إكس»: القتلى الأربعة والجرحى من حراس المنشآت النفطية في دير الزور، والمصابين الـ 9 من العاملين والمدنيين، واصفة ما حدث بـ«استهداف إرهابي» بعبوة ناسفة لباص مبيت تابع لوزارة الطاقة السورية أثناء مروره على الطريق الواصل بين مدينتي دير الزور والميادين.
ورجحت مصادر سورية أن يكون تنظيم داعش الإرهابي وراء الهجوم، موضحة أن العبوة الناسفة من بصمات التنظيم الإرهابي.
وفرضت الأجهزة الأمنية السورية طوقاً أمنياً على موقع الانفجار وشرعت في تتبع العناصر التي يرجح أنها متورطة في الجريمة الإرهابية.
من جهة ثانية، دانت وزارة الطاقة السورية، العمل الإرهابي، مؤكدة أن هذا الاعتداء لن يُثني كوادرها عن مواصلة أداء مهماتهم في حماية المنشآت النفطية وتأمين استمرار العمل والإنتاج رغم كل التحديات التي تواجهها المنطقة.
Four members of the Syrian army were killed and nine others were injured today (Thursday) in a bomb explosion in a bus that was transporting them in Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
The "Syrian Television" reported that the deceased were working as guards for an oil facility, and the bus they were on was targeted by a bomb near the town of Salou in eastern Deir ez-Zor.
For its part, the Syrian news agency "SANA" tweeted on its account on "X": the four deceased and the injured were guards of the oil facilities in Deir ez-Zor, and the nine injured included workers and civilians, describing what happened as a "terrorist targeting" with a bomb aimed at a dormitory bus belonging to the Syrian Ministry of Energy while it was passing on the road connecting the cities of Deir ez-Zor and Mayadeen.
Syrian sources suggested that the terrorist organization ISIS might be behind the attack, clarifying that the bomb bore the fingerprints of the terrorist organization.
The Syrian security forces imposed a security cordon around the explosion site and began tracking down the individuals likely involved in the terrorist crime.
On another note, the Syrian Ministry of Energy condemned the terrorist act, affirming that this attack will not deter its personnel from continuing their duties in protecting oil facilities and ensuring the continuity of work and production despite all the challenges facing the region.
