حذر وزير الخارجية المصري بدر عبدالعاطي، اليوم (الخميس)، من التداعيات الإنسانية الوخيمة على سكان قطاع غزة نتيجة العمليات العسكرية الإسرائيلية، مشدداً على الأهمية البالغة لوضع حد لهذه العمليات وذلك خلال اتصال هاتفي مع المبعوث الأمريكي الخاص إلى الشرق الأوسط ستيف ويتكوف.
وأوضحت وزارة الخارجية المصرية الخطورة البالغة للمخططات الإسرائيلية الداعية للتهجير، مشدداً على أن هذه المخططات تشكل عنصراً أساسياً من عناصر عدم الاستقرار بالمنطقة وتقوض بشكل مباشر الأمن الإقليمي.
رفض التهجير
وأكد وزير الخارجية المصري أنه لا يمكن على الإطلاق قبول تهجير الفلسطينيين من أرضهم، لافتاً إلى أن التهجير يؤدي إلى المساس بالقضية الفلسطينية وتصفيتها، وأن مصر ترفض ذلك بشكل قاطع تحت أي ذريعة أو مسمى ولا يوجد أي مبرر له.
وأكد عبدالعاطي ضرورة بقاء الفلسطينيين على أرضهم، داعياً إلى ضرورة تحقيق وقف إطلاق النار، بما يسهم في خفض التصعيد ووصول المساعدات الإنسانية في ظل الأوضاع الكارثية بالقطاع واستعادة الاستقرار للمنطقة.
ويأتي اتصال وزير الخارجية المصري في إطار الاتصالات الدورية لمتابعة التطورات في قطاع غزة والملف النووي الإيراني، والتنسيق المشترك لخفض التصعيد بالمنطقة.
المفاوضات مع إيران
وتناول الجانبان الجهود المبذولة لخفض التصعيد بالمنطقة، والاتصالات الجارية بخصوص الملف النووى الإيراني، خصوصاً بعد التوصل للاتفاق بين إيران والوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية بالقاهرة في ٩ سبتمبر الجاري، والذي يعد أول اتفاق يسفر عن استئناف التعاون بين الطرفين بعد العدوان الإسرائيلي على إيران.
وأبلغ الوزير عبدالعاطي المبعوث الأمريكي بالنتائج التي تمت مع الجانب الإيراني وجهود خفض التصعيد، وتأجيل آلية إعادة تفعيل العقوبات الأممية، واستئناف المفاوضات بين إيران والولايات المتحدة.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty warned today (Thursday) of the dire humanitarian consequences for the residents of the Gaza Strip due to Israeli military operations, emphasizing the critical importance of putting an end to these operations during a phone call with U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Hanke.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified the severe danger of Israeli plans calling for displacement, stressing that these plans are a fundamental element of instability in the region and directly undermine regional security.
Rejection of Displacement
The Egyptian Foreign Minister affirmed that the displacement of Palestinians from their land cannot be accepted under any circumstances, pointing out that displacement affects the Palestinian cause and leads to its liquidation. He stated that Egypt categorically rejects this under any pretext or name, and there is no justification for it.
Abdelatty emphasized the necessity for Palestinians to remain on their land, calling for an urgent ceasefire to help reduce escalation and allow humanitarian aid to reach the region amid the catastrophic conditions in the Strip and to restore stability to the area.
This phone call from the Egyptian Foreign Minister is part of regular communications to monitor developments in the Gaza Strip and the Iranian nuclear file, as well as joint coordination to reduce escalation in the region.
Negotiations with Iran
The two sides discussed efforts to reduce escalation in the region and ongoing communications regarding the Iranian nuclear file, especially following the agreement reached between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency in Cairo on September 9, which is the first agreement resulting in the resumption of cooperation between the two parties after the Israeli aggression against Iran.
Minister Abdelatty informed the U.S. envoy of the outcomes achieved with the Iranian side, efforts to reduce escalation, the postponement of the mechanism for reactivating UN sanctions, and the resumption of negotiations between Iran and the United States.
