دانت مصر اليوم (الثلاثاء)، بأشد العبارات بدء العملية العسكرية الإسرائيلية في مدينة غزة، واصفة تلك العملية بأنها تشكل تصعيداً خطيراً وانتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي الإنساني، مؤكدة أنها تعكس الإصرار الإسرائيلي على ممارسة سياسة متهورة، وتنذر بعواقب شديدة السلبية على الوضع في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة والمنطقة بأكملها.
وحذرت مصر من المخاطر الكارثية للعمليات العسكرية الإسرائيلية على المنطقة، وهي على أعتاب مرحلة جديدة من الفوضى الشاملة، نتيجة التهور الإسرائيلي والتمادي في الغطرسة بصورة فادحة، ستضر حتماً بمصالح كافة الأطراف الإقليمية والدولية دون استثناء.
جرائم إبادة
وحمّلت مصر الأطراف الدولية الفاعلة مسئولية ما آلت إليه الأوضاع من تردٍ شديد وعدم التحرك لمواجهة ما يتم ارتكابه من جرائم وإبادة، وضرورة احترام حقوق الإنسان وسيادة القانون.
ودعت مصر لاتخاذ خطوات حقيقية نحو إنهاء الحرب على قطاع غزة وإنقاذ حياة الفلسطينيين بقطاع غزة بعد ما تسببت فيه آلة الحرب الإسرائيلية من قتل ما يقارب من 65 ألف فلسطيني منذ بدء الحرب على غزة وإصابة مئات الآلاف وتدمير البنية التحتية.
حصار ومجاعة
وشددت مصر على التبعات الخطيرة للعمليات العسكرية الإسرائيلية على مجمل الأوضاع الإنسانية في قطاع غزة، لاسيما في ظل ما تفرضه إسرائيل من حصار ومجاعة على الشعب الفلسطيني في القطاع، منددة بما يصاحب العملية العسكرية من تشريد وتنكيل بالسكان الفلسطينيين في القطاع.
وأعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي توسيع عملياته في مدينة غزة، خاصة في غزة سيتي، بهدف "القضاء على حماس"، مما يشمل غارات جوية وبرية جديدة أدت إلى عشرات القتلى في يوم واحد، في الوقت الذي يشهد فيه قطاع غزة وضعاً إنسانياً متدهوراً، مع تقارير عن مجاعة وأمراض تنتشر بسبب نقص الغذاء والماء والدواء، وتدمير أكثر من 80% من المباني والمستشفيات.
Egypt condemned today (Tuesday) in the strongest terms the start of the Israeli military operation in the city of Gaza, describing this operation as a serious escalation and a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, affirming that it reflects the Israeli insistence on pursuing a reckless policy, and warns of severely negative consequences for the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the entire region.
Egypt warned of the catastrophic risks of the Israeli military operations on the region, which is on the brink of a new phase of total chaos, as a result of Israeli recklessness and extreme arrogance, which will inevitably harm the interests of all regional and international parties without exception.
Crimes of Genocide
Egypt held the active international parties responsible for the severe deterioration of the situation and the lack of action to confront the crimes and genocide being committed, emphasizing the necessity of respecting human rights and the rule of law.
Egypt called for real steps to end the war on the Gaza Strip and save the lives of Palestinians in Gaza after the Israeli war machine has caused the deaths of nearly 65,000 Palestinians since the start of the war on Gaza, injuring hundreds of thousands and destroying infrastructure.
Siege and Famine
Egypt stressed the serious repercussions of the Israeli military operations on the overall humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, especially in light of the siege and famine imposed by Israel on the Palestinian people in the sector, condemning the displacement and maltreatment of the Palestinian population in the area accompanying the military operation.
The Israeli army announced the expansion of its operations in the city of Gaza, particularly in Gaza City, with the aim of "eliminating Hamas," which includes new air and ground strikes that have resulted in dozens of deaths in a single day, while the Gaza Strip is experiencing a deteriorating humanitarian situation, with reports of famine and diseases spreading due to shortages of food, water, and medicine, and the destruction of more than 80% of buildings and hospitals.
