بعد أيام من تصريح الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أنه حرك غواصتين نوويتين أمريكيتين إلى مسافة أقرب من روسيا، كشفت وزارة الدفاع الروسية، اليوم (الأربعاء)، أن سلاحي البحرية الروسية والصينية أجريا تدريبات على مطاردة وتدمير غواصة معادية في بحر اليابان، مؤكدة أن التدريبات شاركت فيها طائرات واي-8 الصينية المضادة للغواصات، وطائرات إيل-38 من الأسطول الروسي في المحيط الهادي، إضافة إلى أطقم طائرات هليكوبتر.
وقالت وزارة الدفاع الروسية: «بفضل الإجراءات المشتركة الفعالة، تم رصد الغواصة المعادية على الفور ومحاكاة تدميرها»، مضيفة: «بعد التدريب على المهمات المضادة للغواصات، شكرت طواقم السفن الروسية والصينية بعضها بعضاً على عملها المثمر». وكان الرئيس الأمريكي دنالد ترمب قد أرجع تحريك الغواصتين إلى الاستفزازات التي أدلى بها الرئيس الروسي السابق دميتري ميدفيديف عن خطر نشوب حرب بين الخصمين المسلحين نووياً، لكن الكرملين، قلل من أهمية تصريحات ترمب. وقال الكرملين الغواصتين الأمريكيتين في مهمة قتالية مستمرة على أي حال، وعلى الجميع توخي الحذر جداً بشأن الخطاب النووي.
يذكر أن التدريبات الصينية ـ الروسية كانت قد بدأت الأحد الماضي بمناورات عسكرية مشتركة، وبحسب وزارة الدفاع الصينية فإن تدريبات «البحر المشترك 2025» انطلقت قرب ميناء فلاديفوستوك الروسي وأن الجيشين سيجريان عمليات إنقاذ غواصات، ومعركة مشتركة ضد غواصات، ودفاعاً جوياً مضاداً للصواريخ، ومعارك بحرية.
وذكرت الوزارة أن 4 سفن صينية تشارك في التدريبات من بينها مدمرتا الصواريخ الموجهة شاوشينغ وأورومتشي، فيما نقلت وكالة إنترفاكس الروسية للأنباء عن الأسطول الروسي في المحيط الهادي قوله إن سلاحي البحرية الروسية والصينية يجريان مناورات مدفعية ومضادة للغواصات في بحر اليابان في إطار تدريبات مشتركة مقررة.
Days after U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he had moved two American nuclear submarines closer to Russia, the Russian Ministry of Defense revealed today (Wednesday) that the Russian and Chinese navies conducted drills to hunt and destroy an enemy submarine in the Sea of Japan, confirming that the exercises involved Chinese Y-8 anti-submarine aircraft and Il-38 aircraft from the Russian Pacific Fleet, in addition to helicopter crews.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated: "Thanks to effective joint measures, the enemy submarine was immediately detected and its destruction was simulated," adding: "After training on anti-submarine missions, the crews of the Russian and Chinese ships thanked each other for their fruitful work." U.S. President Donald Trump attributed the movement of the submarines to provocations made by former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev regarding the danger of war between the nuclear-armed adversaries, but the Kremlin downplayed Trump's statements. The Kremlin said that the American submarines were on a combat mission anyway, and that everyone should be very cautious about nuclear rhetoric.
It is worth noting that the Chinese-Russian drills began last Sunday with joint military maneuvers. According to the Chinese Ministry of Defense, the "Joint Sea 2025" exercises commenced near the Russian port of Vladivostok, and the two armies will conduct submarine rescue operations, joint battles against submarines, missile air defense, and naval battles.
The ministry reported that four Chinese ships are participating in the drills, including the guided missile destroyers Shaoxing and Urumqi, while the Russian news agency Interfax quoted the Russian Pacific Fleet as saying that the Russian and Chinese navies are conducting artillery and anti-submarine maneuvers in the Sea of Japan as part of scheduled joint exercises.
