رغم أن الحكومة اللبنانية أجلت النقاش في الورقة الأمريكية إلى الأسبوع القادمة، شهدت العاصمة اللبنانية بيروت اليوم (الثلاثاء) انتشاراً أمنياً لمنع أي احتكاكات في الشارع وضبط الوضع والحفاظ على الاستقرار.
وحذّرت مصادر أمنية لبنانية من أي تجمعات أو توافد لدراجات نارية أو سيارات، موضحاً أن ذلك سيُعرّض السلم والأمن الداخلي للخطر، وسيتم التعامل معه وفق القانون، وفقاً لـ«قناة العربية، والحدث».
وأفاد المصدر أن دراجات نارية آتية من الضاحية الجنوبية كانت تحاول مساء أمس الدخول إلى مناطق في بيروت، إلا أنها عادت أدراجها بعدما شاهدت انتشار الجيش على مداخل العاصمة.
ونفذ مؤيدون لحزب الله مسيرات على الدراجات النارية في مناطق عدة ليل أمس في إشارة فهمت من قبل العديد من السياسيين والإعلاميين على أنها رسالة تهديد ووعيد وتحذير من إقرار تسليم سلاح حزب الله للدولة.
من جهة أخرى، أكد وزير الداخلية اللبناني أحمد الحجار أن جلسة الوزراء كانت إيجابية بحضور الرئيس جوزيف عون، مبيناً أن تم حسم مسألة حصر السلاح.
وأشار إلى أنه سيتم مناقشة قضايا الانتشار والحدود، وشدد على ضرورة بسط سلطة الدولة على كافة أراضي لبنان، مشيراً إلى أن وزيري حزب الله وأمل انسحبا من الجلسة وليس من الحكومة قبل إقرار مخرجات الاجتماع الوزاري.
وقال الوزير اللبناني في تصريح تلفزيوني: سننتظر خطة الجيش لحصر السلاح، مبيناً أن حصر السلاح بيد الدولة سيكون قبل نهاية العام.
ولفت إلى أن الجيش اللبناني مكلف بإعداد خطة لنزع السلاح تقدم نهاية الشهر، مبيناً أنه تم الاتفاق على استكمال نقاش الورقة الأمريكية يوم الخميس.
