رحبت سلطنةُ عُمان بإعلان رئيس الوزراء البريطاني كير ستارمر، عزم بلاده على الاعتراف بالدولة الفلسطينية.
وجدّدت في بيان صادر عن وزارة الخارجية اليوم دعوتها لبقية دول المجتمع الدولي، التي لم تعترف بالدولة الفلسطينية بعد، بضرورة القيام بخطوات مُماثلة لضمان حق الشعب الفلسطيني المشروع بإقامة دولته المستقلة على حدود عام 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية، تمهيدًا لحل الدولتين ولسلام مستدام في المنطقة.
The Sultanate of Oman welcomed the announcement by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer regarding his country's intention to recognize the State of Palestine.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, it reiterated its call to the rest of the international community that has not yet recognized the State of Palestine to take similar steps to ensure the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state on the borders of 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in preparation for a two-state solution and sustainable peace in the region.
