كشفت مفوضية العون الإنساني بالولاية الشمالية، اليوم (الأحد)، مصرع 17 سودانيّاً بعدما ضلوا طريقهم في الصحراء خلال نزوحهم من منطقة الطينة شمال إقليم دارفور بالسودان إلى محلية الدبة، مؤكدة استقبال مستشفى دنقلا العسكري 41 من النازحين، بينهم مصابون بالجفاف وأشخاص لقوا حتفهم خلال الرحلة بعد هجوم مليشيات عليهم.
وأكدت مسؤولة تنمية الأطفال بالولاية الشمالية، هيام عمر، أن أوضاع الناجين الذين وصلوا إلى المستشفى العسكري بدنقلا حرجة، بينهم نساء وأطفال يحتاجون إلى رعاية طبية وإنسانية عاجلة، مبينة إنهم في أوضاع صعبة.
وأشارت إلى أن رحلة التوهان استغرقت نحو 9 أيام في الصحراء مما تسببت في حدوث حالات جفاف وإعياء وإنهاك، مبينة إن من بين الـ 13 طفلاً، 7 من الإناث، و6 من الذكور، و10 نساء من إجمالي الحالات ومن ضمن المتوفين أسرة كاملة.
وقال مفوض العون الإنساني بالولاية عبدالرحمن علي خيري، إن التقارير أكدت توهان حوالى 41 شخصاً، تفرقت بهم السبل في الصحراء، إثر هجوم المليشيا المتمردة عليهم فور خروجهم من مدينة الطينة متوجهين لمدينة الدبة بالولاية الشمالية، مشيراً في منشور على حساب المفوضية في الفيسبوك إن من بين الحالات القادمة للمستشفى، 13 طفلاً، كما أن من بينهم 17 حالة وفاة.
ودعا خيري المسؤولين والأفراد والقطاع الإنساني إلى تقديم ما يلزم في مثل هذه الحالات، من الدعم والإسناد والرعاية وإكرام وستر الجثامين، والوقوف إلى جانب الحالات المتبقية بالمستشفى العسكري بدنقلا.
وكان رئيس مجلس السيادة السوداني عبدالفتاح البرهان قد وصل، أمس (السبت)، إلى العاصمة السودانية الخرطوم، لتكون أول طائرة مدنية تهبط في مطار الخرطوم هي طائرة مجلس السيادة منذ بدء الحرب في الـ14 من أبريل 2023.
واستقبل البرهان رئيس أركان الجيش السوداني الفريق محمد عثمان الحسين الذي قدم للبرهان إيجازاً حول الأوضاع الأمنية بالبلاد والجهود الجارية.
The Humanitarian Aid Commission in the Northern State revealed today (Sunday) the death of 17 Sudanese who lost their way in the desert while fleeing from the Tine area in northern Darfur to the Al-Dabba locality, confirming that the Dongola Military Hospital received 41 of the displaced, including those suffering from dehydration and individuals who died during the journey after an attack by militias.
The Child Development Officer in the Northern State, Hayam Omar, confirmed that the conditions of the survivors who arrived at the military hospital in Dongola are critical, including women and children who need urgent medical and humanitarian care, indicating that they are in difficult situations.
She noted that the journey of getting lost lasted about 9 days in the desert, which caused cases of dehydration, fatigue, and exhaustion, indicating that among the 13 children, 7 are females and 6 are males, and there are 10 women among the total cases, including an entire family among the deceased.
The Humanitarian Aid Commissioner in the state, Abdulrahman Ali Khairi, stated that reports confirmed the disorientation of about 41 people, who were scattered in the desert following an attack by the rebel militia on them as they left the city of Tine heading to the city of Al-Dabba in the Northern State. He pointed out in a post on the commission's Facebook account that among the cases arriving at the hospital, there are 13 children, and there are 17 reported deaths.
Khairi called on officials, individuals, and the humanitarian sector to provide what is necessary in such cases, including support, assistance, care, honoring, and covering the bodies, and standing by the remaining cases at the military hospital in Dongola.
Sudanese Sovereignty Council Chairman Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan arrived yesterday (Saturday) in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, marking the first civilian plane to land at Khartoum Airport since the war began on April 14, 2023.
Al-Burhan was received by the Chief of Staff of the Sudanese Army, Lieutenant General Mohamed Osman Al-Hussein, who provided Al-Burhan with a briefing on the security situation in the country and the ongoing efforts.
