فيما أعربت الأمم المتحدة ودول عن غضبها واستنكارها لإقدام القوات الإسرائيلية على قصف الكنيسة الكاثوليكية الوحيدة في قطاع غزة ومقتل ثلاثة أشخاص وإصابة 10 آخرين، أكد المبعوث الأمريكي بشأن المحتجزين آدم بولر، اليوم (الجمعة)، إن التوصل إلى اتفاق في غزة أقرب من أي وقت مضى، بحسب موقع بوليتيكو.
وأعلنت مستشفيات قطاع غزة ارتفاع قتلى العدوان الإسرائيلي على غزة إلى 25 فلسطينياً منذ فجر اليوم، مؤكدة سقوط 5 قتلى في قصف إسرائيلي على جباليا، وذكر مجمع ناصر الطبي وصول 5 قتلى وأكثر من 10 مصابين إثر قصف إسرائيلي منزلاً في خان يونس جنوبي قطاع غزة، فيما استقبل المستشفى نفسه 5 من ضحايا مركز المساعدات شمال رفح.
وذكر شهود عيان إن شخصين قتلا، وأصيب آخرون في قصف إسرائيلي على منطقة الشاكوش شمال غربي رفح جنوب قطاع غزة، كما جرى انتشال جثمان قتيل بعد قصف إسرائيلي على منطقة الشعف بحي التفاح شرقي مدينة غزة، كما جرى انتشال جثماني شخصين تعرضا لقصف إسرائيلي داخل مدرسة تؤوي نازحين شمال غربي مدينة خان يونس جنوبي القطاع، و4 مصابين في قرب مركز نتساريم للمساعدات.
في غضون ذلك، أفاد استطلاع رأي أجرته صحيفة معاريف أن 44% من الإسرائيليين يرون أن استمرار القتال في قطاع غزة لن يحقق أهدافه، بينما 42% يعتقدون عكس ذلك.
بالمقابل، دان الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، أنطونيو غوتيريش بشدة قصف إسرائيل كنيسة العائلة المقدسة في غزة، مؤكداً في بيان إن الهجمات على أماكن العبادة «أمر غير مقبول».
وشدد غوتيريش على ضرورة احترام وحماية الباحثين عن مأوى، لا استهدافهم بالغارات، مبيناً إن الحرب أزهقت أرواحاً كثيرة بالفعل، هناك حاجة ملحة لوقف فوري لإطلاق النار والإفراج الفوري وغير المشروط عن جميع المحتجزين.
ودعا الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة كافة الأطراف إلى ضمان احترام المدنيين وحمايتهم في جميع الأوقات، والسماح بتدفق المساعدات الإنسانية إلى القطاع على نطاق واسع.
وكان الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون قد أعرب عن «إدانته الشديدة» للقصف الإسرائيلي الذي استهدف كنيسة في غزة تحظى «بحماية تاريخية من فرنسا»، قائلاً في منشور على حسابه في «إكس»: «لقد تحدّثتُ مع الكاردينال بيتسابالا، بطريرك القدس اللاتي وأبلغته تضامن فرنسا مع جميع المسيحيين الفلسطينيين الذين يتعرضون للتهديد».
وأشار إلى أن استمرار هذه الحرب أمر غير مبرّر، مندداً بقتل العشرات من المدنيين الفلسطينيين في غزة، مطالباً بضرورة تثبيت وقف إطلاق النار فوراً، وتحرير المدنيين والمحتجزين من خطر الحرب الدائمة.
وأشار إلى أن عدم دخول المساعدات الإنسانية على نطاق واسع أمر غير مبرر وغير لائق، ويعد انتهاكاً لجميع المبادئ الدولية للعمل الإنساني.

The Nasser Medical Complex reported the arrival of 5 dead and more than 10 injured due to an Israeli strike on a house in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, while the same hospital received 5 victims from the aid center north of Rafah.
Eyewitnesses reported that two people were killed and others injured in an Israeli bombing in the Al-Shakush area northwest of Rafah in southern Gaza. The body of a victim was also recovered after an Israeli bombing in the Al-Shujaiya neighborhood of eastern Gaza City. Additionally, the bodies of two individuals who were subjected to Israeli bombing inside a school sheltering displaced persons were retrieved northwest of Khan Younis, along with 4 injured near the Nitsarim aid center.
Meanwhile, a poll conducted by Maariv newspaper indicated that 44% of Israelis believe that the continuation of fighting in the Gaza Strip will not achieve its goals, while 42% think otherwise.
In contrast, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres strongly condemned the Israeli bombing of the Holy Family Church in Gaza, stating in a statement that attacks on places of worship are "unacceptable."
Guterres emphasized the need to respect and protect those seeking shelter, rather than targeting them with airstrikes, pointing out that the war has already claimed many lives and there is an urgent need for an immediate ceasefire and the unconditional release of all detainees.
The UN Secretary-General called on all parties to ensure the respect and protection of civilians at all times and to allow the widespread flow of humanitarian aid into the region.
French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his "strong condemnation" of the Israeli bombing that targeted a church in Gaza that has "historical protection from France," stating in a post on his account on "X": "I spoke with Cardinal Pizzaballa, the Patriarch of Jerusalem, and informed him of France's solidarity with all Palestinian Christians who are under threat."
He noted that the continuation of this war is unjustifiable, condemning the killing of dozens of Palestinian civilians in Gaza and calling for an immediate ceasefire and the liberation of civilians and detainees from the danger of ongoing war.
He pointed out that the lack of widespread entry of humanitarian aid is unjustifiable and inappropriate, constituting a violation of all international principles of humanitarian action.
