أحبطت الأجهزة الأمنية السورية اليوم (الأحد)، هجوما بعبوات ناسفة في محافظة حمص، وتمكنت من إلقاء القبض على الشخص المتورط. وبحسب وزارة الداخلية، فإن التحقيقات الأولية بيّنت أن منفذ الهجوم على صلة بـ«حزب الله» اللبناني.
وقالت الوزارة في بيان إن جهاز الاستخبارات العامة، بالتعاون مع قيادة الأمن الداخلي في محافظة حمص، نفّذ عملية أمنية استباقية، أسفرت عن إلقاء القبض على شخص يُدعى محمود فاضل، بعد تعقبه ومتابعته، مبينة أنه ضبط مع المتهم عددا من العبوات الناسفة الجاهزة للاستخدام.
وأشارت إلى أن فاضل كان يعتزم تنفيذ عمليات إرهابية بها في المنطقة، موضحة أن التحقيقات الأولية كشفت ارتباط فاضل بخلية تابعة لـ«حزب الله» اللبناني.
وأفادت الوزارة أن التحقيقات بينت استلام فاضل العبوات عبر معابر التهريب غير الشرعية، مؤكدة إحالته إلى القضاء المختص لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقه.
من جهة أخرى، انتشرت قوى الأمن الداخلي، اليوم، على الحدود الإدارية بين محافظتي درعا والسويداء، في محاولة لاحتواء التوتر الأمني المتصاعد عقب اشتباكات دامية شهدتها مدينة السويداء، أسفرت عن سقوط قتلى وجرحى.
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء السورية «سانا» عن قائد قوى الأمن الداخلي في محافظة درعا، العميد شاهد جبر عمران قوله: إن الانتشار جاء بتوجيه من القيادة المختصة، وضمن مسؤوليات القوى الأمنية في الحفاظ على الأمن والاستقرار، بعد الخلافات التي طرأت في السويداء وما رافقها من خسائر بشرية ومادية، موضحاً أن هذه الخطوة تهدف إلى منع امتداد التوتر إلى المناطق المجاورة، لا سيما ريف درعا الشرقي، والتصدي لأي تداعيات أمنية محتملة، بالتنسيق الكامل مع الجيش واللجان المختصة.
ولفت إلى أن هذا الانتشار يأتي في إطار إجراءات استباقية تقوم بها قوى الأمن الداخلي لضبط المنطقة من أي تجاوزات أو ممارسات خارجة عن القانون، بالتنسيق الكامل مع وحدات الجيش العربي السوري واللجان المختصة.
وكانت مدينة السويداء قد شهدت اشتباكات مسلحة اليوم بين فصائل محلية ومجموعات من عشائر البدو، ما أدى إلى سقوط عشرات القتلى والجرحى.

The Syrian security forces thwarted a bombing attack with explosive devices in Homs province today (Sunday) and managed to arrest the person involved. According to the Ministry of Interior, initial investigations revealed that the attacker is linked to the Lebanese "Hezbollah."
The ministry stated in a statement that the General Intelligence Agency, in cooperation with the Internal Security Forces in Homs province, carried out a preemptive security operation that resulted in the arrest of a person named Mahmoud Fadel, after tracking and monitoring him. It indicated that several ready-to-use explosive devices were seized from the accused.
It pointed out that Fadel intended to carry out terrorist operations in the area, clarifying that initial investigations uncovered Fadel's connection to a cell affiliated with the Lebanese "Hezbollah."
The ministry reported that investigations revealed Fadel received the explosives through illegal smuggling crossings, confirming his referral to the competent judiciary to take the necessary legal actions against him.
On another note, internal security forces deployed today along the administrative border between the provinces of Daraa and Sweida, in an attempt to contain the rising security tension following bloody clashes in the city of Sweida, which resulted in casualties and injuries.
The Syrian News Agency "SANA" quoted the commander of the internal security forces in Daraa province, Brigadier General Shahid Jabr Omran, as saying that the deployment came by directive from the competent leadership and within the responsibilities of the security forces to maintain security and stability, following the disputes that occurred in Sweida and the accompanying human and material losses. He explained that this step aims to prevent the tension from spreading to neighboring areas, especially the eastern countryside of Daraa, and to address any potential security repercussions, in full coordination with the army and the relevant committees.
He noted that this deployment is part of preemptive measures taken by the internal security forces to control the area from any violations or unlawful practices, in full coordination with the units of the Syrian Arab Army and the relevant committees.
