إسرائيل تقصف مواقع حوثية في اليمن بـ60 قنبلة

The Israeli army launched an attack on targets belonging to the Houthi group in the ports of Hodeidah, Ras Issa, and Salif in Yemen, announcing that around 20 fighter jets participated in those raids.

The army stated in a statement today (Monday) that it dropped about 60 bombs on Houthi targets, confirming the targeting of the ship "Galaxy Leader," which has been held by the Houthis for months. The Houthis responded by launching missiles at Israel, and the army attempted to intercept one missile, with no reports of injuries resulting from the attack.

The Israeli attack followed an attack yesterday (Sunday) that targeted a ship flying the Liberian flag in the Red Sea, which caught fire and was flooded, forcing its crew to abandon the vessel.

Fingers were pointed at the Houthis for the attack on the cargo ship "Magic Seas," after a security company announced that explosive drones appeared to have struck the ship after it was targeted with light weapons and rocket shells.

The Israeli army stated that it targeted the ports controlled by the Houthis in Hodeidah, Ras Issa, and Salif, in addition to the power station at Ras al-Khatib.

The Israeli army mentioned that it targeted the ship "Galaxy Leader," a vehicle transport ship seized by the Houthis in November 2023 when they began their attacks in the Red Sea.

The army clarified that the Houthis had installed a radar system on the ship and used it to track vessels in the international maritime arena.
