أعربت مصر عن قلقها البالغ تجاه التصعيد المتسارع في إيران، مؤكدة أن ما تشهده الساحة الإيرانية من تطورات يمثل تهديداً خطيراً للأمن الإقليمي والدولي، ويُنذر بعواقب وخيمة في حال خروجه عن السيطرة.
وأكدت وزارة الخارجية المصرية، في بيان رسمي، أن مصر تتابع عن كثب تلك التطورات، مشددة على رفضها لأي إجراءات من شأنها تقويض ميثاق الأمم المتحدة والقانون الدولي، أو الإخلال بمبدأ احترام سيادة الدول.
وشدد البيان على تحذير مصر من المخاطر المتزايدة لتفاقم الأوضاع بما قد يؤدي إلى المزيد من الفوضى والتوتر، داعية في الوقت نفسه جميع الأطراف إلى التحلي بالحكمة وتغليب لغة الحوار والبحث عن حلول سياسية شاملة تُجنّب المنطقة سيناريوهات الانزلاق إلى صراع مفتوح أو موجات من التصعيد العسكري قد تُدخل المنطقة في دوامة من عدم الاستقرار.
واختتمت مصر بيانها بتأكيد ضرورة وقف التصعيد فوراً، وضبط النفس، والحفاظ على أرواح المدنيين، مشددة على أن التهدئة والحوار يمثلان السبيل الوحيد للخروج من هذه الأزمة الخطيرة، وصون أمن واستقرار المنطقة.
بيان الخارجية المصرية جاء عقب تصاعد التوترات في الشرق الأوسط بشكل كبير بعد أن نفذت الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية فجر اليوم (الأحد) ضربات جوية استهدفت منشآت نووية إيرانية رئيسية في فوردو، ونطنز، وأصفهان، بالتزامن مع هجوم إسرائيلي سابق على إيران. وتأتي هذه التطورات في أعقاب فشل المفاوضات الدولية لإحياء الاتفاق النووي الإيراني، وسط اتهامات متبادلة بين طهران والغرب بانتهاك الالتزامات. وأثارت الضربات مخاوف إقليمية وعالمية من توسع الصراع، خصوصاً مع تهديدات إيران بالرد، بما قد يشمل إغلاق مضيق هرمز أو استهداف مصالح أمريكية وإسرائيلية.
Egypt expressed its deep concern regarding the escalating tensions in Iran, affirming that the developments taking place in the Iranian arena represent a serious threat to regional and international security, and warn of dire consequences if they spiral out of control.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in an official statement, confirmed that Egypt is closely monitoring these developments, emphasizing its rejection of any actions that could undermine the United Nations Charter and international law, or violate the principle of respecting the sovereignty of states.
The statement stressed Egypt's warning about the increasing risks of worsening conditions that could lead to further chaos and tension, while simultaneously calling on all parties to exercise wisdom and prioritize dialogue, seeking comprehensive political solutions that would spare the region from scenarios of slipping into open conflict or waves of military escalation that could plunge the area into a cycle of instability.
Egypt concluded its statement by emphasizing the necessity of immediately halting the escalation, exercising restraint, and preserving the lives of civilians, stressing that de-escalation and dialogue are the only way out of this serious crisis, and to safeguard the security and stability of the region.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry's statement came following a significant rise in tensions in the Middle East after the United States carried out airstrikes early today (Sunday) targeting key Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, coinciding with a previous Israeli attack on Iran. These developments follow the failure of international negotiations to revive the Iranian nuclear agreement, amid mutual accusations between Tehran and the West of violating commitments. The strikes have raised regional and global concerns about the expansion of the conflict, especially with Iran's threats of retaliation, which may include closing the Strait of Hormuz or targeting American and Israeli interests.
