قبيل انطلاق الاجتماع المرتقب في جنيف، اليوم (الجمعة)، بين وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي ونظرائه في فرنسا وبريطانيا وألمانيا، كشف الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون أن الترويكا الأوروبية ستقدم عرضاً تفاوضياً شاملا لإيران.
وعلى هامش معرض باريس الجوي، أفصح ماكرون أن العرض يشمل 3 بنود أو قضايا وهي: البرنامج النووي، أنشطة الصواريخ البالستية، وتمويل الفصائل المسلحة في المنطقة. وقال إن المفاوضات مع إيران يجب أن تشمل تمويلها لجماعات إرهابية تزعزع استقرار المنطقة.
وأكد الرئيس الفرنسي ضرورة «إعطاء الأولوية للعودة إلى المفاوضات الجوهرية»، حول الملف النووي. ودعا إسرائيل إلى وقف ضرباتها على البنى التحتية المدنية الإيرانية. وجدد التأكيد على أن «السلاح النووي الإيراني يشكل تهديدا حقيقيا».
وكان دبلوماسي أوروبي، أفاد في وقت سابق بأن الأمريكيين لا يستطيعون حالياً الجلوس مع الإيرانيين على عكس الأوروبيين. وأضاف أن الترويكا ستوضح لوزير خارجية إيران ضرورة العودة إلى طاولة المفاوضات لمناقشة القضية النووية قبل حدوث ما وصفه بـ«السيناريو الأسوأ»، في إشارة إلى احتمال انخراط الولايات المتحدة في الحرب التي دخلت يومها الثامن بين إسرائيل وإيران.
وكانت وزارة الخارجية البريطانية، أعلنت (الخميس)، أن الوزير ديفيد لامي سيتوجه إلى جنيف، لإجراء محادثات مع نظيريه الفرنسي والألماني، بالإضافة إلى مسؤولة السياسة الخارجية بالاتحاد الأوروبي كايا كالاس، ووزير الخارجية الإيراني، سعيا للتوصل إلى حل دبلوماسي بشأن البرنامج النووي الإيراني.
وأضاف بيان صادر عن السفارة البريطانية في واشنطن، أن لامي، تحدث عقب إجرائه محادثات في البيت الأبيض مع نظيره الأمريكي ماركو روبيو، أن الوقت لا يزال متاحا للتوصل إلى حل دبلوماسي مع إيران بشأن برنامجها النووي لتفادي نزاع أوسع نطاقا.
وقال: «لا يزال الوضع في الشرق الأوسط محفوفا بالمخاطر.. نحن مصممون على ألا تمتلك إيران سلاحا نوويا أبدا».
وأضاف لامي: «بحثنا كيف يجب على إيران إبرام اتفاق لتجنب نزاع متفاقم. والآن توجد فرصة سانحة خلال الأسبوعين القادمين للتوصل إلى حل دبلوماسي».

Just before the anticipated meeting in Geneva today (Friday) between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his counterparts from France, Britain, and Germany, French President Emmanuel Macron revealed that the European troika will present a comprehensive negotiating offer to Iran.
On the sidelines of the Paris Air Show, Macron disclosed that the offer includes three points or issues: the nuclear program, ballistic missile activities, and funding for armed factions in the region. He stated that negotiations with Iran must include its funding for terrorist groups that destabilize the region.
President Macron emphasized the need to "prioritize a return to substantive negotiations" regarding the nuclear file. He called on Israel to cease its strikes on Iranian civilian infrastructure. He reiterated that "Iranian nuclear weapons pose a real threat."
An European diplomat had previously reported that the Americans cannot currently sit down with the Iranians, unlike the Europeans. He added that the troika will clarify to the Iranian Foreign Minister the necessity of returning to the negotiating table to discuss the nuclear issue before what he described as the "worst-case scenario," referring to the possibility of U.S. involvement in the war that has entered its eighth day between Israel and Iran.
The British Foreign Office announced (Thursday) that Minister David Lammy will head to Geneva for talks with his French and German counterparts, as well as with the European Union's foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, and the Iranian Foreign Minister, in an effort to reach a diplomatic solution regarding the Iranian nuclear program.
A statement issued by the British Embassy in Washington indicated that Lammy, speaking after his discussions at the White House with his American counterpart Marco Rubio, stated that there is still time to reach a diplomatic solution with Iran regarding its nuclear program to avoid a broader conflict.
He said, "The situation in the Middle East remains fraught with danger... We are determined that Iran never possesses nuclear weapons."
Lammy added, "We discussed how Iran should conclude an agreement to avoid an escalating conflict. Now there is a favorable opportunity in the coming two weeks to reach a diplomatic solution."
